  1. Good turnout from you lot, makes me wish I still had a Lupo, and then I wouldn't have been kept in the corner with the Scirocco boys! Here's my own Lupo one - Mitch your car is nuts and even better than the yellow peril version: border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> And here's my beast hiding in the corner: border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" />
  2. Yeah, different sizes, can't remember what size they were. Would recommend you buy a Torx Bit pack for your hex driver screwdriver as they do come in handy.
  3. Well for my 2p I like my Pentax Optio S5 as it's tiny, smaller than some fixed lens ones, yet has a 3x optical zoom,5mp or think they do 6 now. You either get a digital camera to take wow photos like the inlaws Digital SLR, or you get one to take everywhere and take loads of good photos. Slip it in your pocket and forget about it. http://www.pentax.co.uk/product_details.ph...208&parentid=16
  4. Oh wow that is so cute, I wanna dog! Just trying to convince the wife that a dog would be a good idea.... for my 2p, my parents have got a Yorkie and even at 5 it still has the energy of a kid on opal fruits so only recommended if you like stroking, petting, playing and walking until you pass out.
  5. You old man, It's the best thing that happened to Radio 1 when they left - "Whoooo" and all that cr&p, I'm not a fan of Scott Mills but in comparison he's the most innovative DJ in the world!
  6. I really love these cars, had one right up me ass in the Curpa R and couldn't really pull away from him! Plus I certainly don't get that sort mpg out of mine. 28mpg on average.
  7. Yeah but its all a pain in the bum for me. I don't go overdrawn etc so I bank for free as the costs are paid for by those that do, which is great for me (if not for them) Now all this is coming in they'll going to have to start charging for services like they do in the US. My mates out there and different banks charge for different stuff but there are charges for cheque books, opening accounts, each card you have issued, cost to close the account etc etc. As mean as I sound I'd rather the finanically inept funded my banking.
  8. Always have your sun visor down, and sit well back in the car so even the photo just shows a hand. Worked for my old company many times when we genuinely didn't know who had driven the pool cars through the camera, asked for photos and got a random hand on the wheel to go with!! Eventually the plod got the ass and we had to introduce proper timed booking in/out for the cars.
  9. I don't feedback until they leave me some. Sent one guy a disk, he says it was lost in post, turns out he gave me wrong address. Sent another anyway and he says it arrived snapped in two (never had a disk broken in post), sent a third and he said the same again so told him to go apologise to his postman because he obviously had some deep hatred towards him and to not expect anything else, left neg feedback as he's an idiot.
  10. Hmm look very nice, although have to admit to growing fond of the p-slots, just need two centres and maybe a refurb or mirror polished...
  11. Just pondering wheel choice on my next motor (picking up a Scirocco at weekend) and from this site found that Mazda MX-5 rims are the right PCD and offset and a larger bore so in theory would fit with reducing bore adapters (or if you're risky leave them as is and let the bolts carry all the weight). Just wondered if anyone else has tried this? Or can recommend other non-VAG wheels that will fit, was thinking about the Renault Clio Ph1 Turbine styles as seen at least one Loop? When fitting other makes do people bother about bore differences? And yes I know this isn't very Lupo (although the same rims would fit a Lupo) related but as the users on hear seem to be some of the most helpful on VAG issues I thought I'd pick your brains! Other than that anyone recommend nice rims for a Black Mk2 Scirocco? I like BBS but want something different and hopefully cheaper!
  12. If you're in the US a big Yank car has to be done. My mate just moved out with work and been trying to convince him to get a 300C, a F150, a Mustang, anything you can't get over here. So he went out and bought an Accord. Fool.
  13. The market going tits up is only going to be a problem if you can't keep up repayments. As long as you can afford the mortgage, even if the house halves it will eventually get back to the price you paid for it so you might just be stuck there for a while. And if the you get a job someplace else just rent out yours and rent someplace near work for the same cash and be no worse off. And I don't see any big drops anytime soon, maybe in places that are really over valued like Wales where there's no jobs but as long as you buy somewhere on the up you're laughing. Agree with earlier comments about estate agents and stamp duty though. We just moved and paid the estate agent 2k for 3 weeks advertising (had 7 viewings and four offers so maximum of 30 hours work all in) and 8k to the government to do naff all. Think we blew 12k all in by the time you add solicitors and removals etc. Try checking our ourproperty.co.uk to see what houses really go for as well as the price they go up is way above what they often go for so somewhere that looks a big stretch might be a bit more obtainable, and first time buyers are in a good position to haggle.
  14. Mmm Chrysler 300C, I so want one. Is your neighbours the V8 Hemi? Just need to get that put on the company car list somehow....
  15. Unrelated I know, bit how nice is that Mk2 in the foreground! Father in law gots a Dimage Z2 thingy, not a digital SLR but a decent step up from a point and shoot like mine, takes some real nice pics, and comes with I think 10x optical zoom, some of his shots from Portugal at the footie you'd swear he was on the touch line rather than in the cheap seats.
