thats cool! it was sods law i was working in liverpool all week so delayed the call to them. i'm thinking of changing from a 1.8t new beetle to a lupo gti with AC. only driven a 5 speed gti for 10 mins on a very limited test drive so have you any opinions on how it compares with a 1.8t or a similiar 'nippy' car i have a new shape vw caddy for work and just fancy a change from the bug, so the loop would be for weekends mainly i'm 34 so wondering if i should be going for something more sensible?! any opinions? i don't want to feel that the lupo is a step down? got a 2 hour drive in the morning to look at one, but any advice before i decide to go would be gratefully received! thanks J

there is an 04/54 black gti for sale at the Listers VW garage in coventry just wondering if anyone knows the car before i call them to arrange a look (thats if it has not already been sold because i know vw dealers are terrible for updating the website when they sell a car!) the reg is VK54 UKT, just wanna make sure its not been damaged/abused etc etc in the past thanks J

boring question i know, but i'm looking at buying a house and because i work away 2-3 nights a week i want a garage but i think i'll be struggling to get my new beetle in a so-called single garage on a new estate? but does a loop go in ok, i.e. can you drive in and actually get out the drivers door ok? thanks for your help!
