Hello guys , I am new here , i am a 20 yo guy that likes lupo a lot , sadly recently my lupo is behaving weirdly.

When I drive all goes kinda smooth for the first 5-10 minutes but then when i want to shift at over 2500 rpm and insert the gear sometimes the rpm of the new gear will start increasing from 2000 to almost 3000 without the car having any acceleration.

This also happens when I am casually driving and press the acceleration pedal, I see that from 2k rpm the rpm are rising making the engine make noise but the car doesn't get any acceleration , it's almost as the clutch is sliding but it was brand new , I cleaned MAF and EGR valve so I dont know what's the cause , maybe its because I have been doing some "power" shifting at 3k rpm sometimes but idk the gears always enter perfectly and the clutch never makes any bad noise, any ideas what this can be?

Yeah, if it happens more in 5th gear, and less in 1st gear, then it's the clutch. Yes, @Rich knows.

Give it a week (use the car normally), because it is possible that the clutch just needs to bed-in. It might fix itself.

pic of car?

Welcome to Club Lupo :)

It’s the clutch. Nothing else has a fault like that

How much of the new clutch parts have been replaced?

I believe all of it , because when starting the car in 3rd or even 5th gear and suddenly leave the clutch pedal the car engine turns off, sometimes when trying to drive from idle in 5th gear the car even started moving. So idk

Sorry I didn’t understand any of that.

I think he means that the engine bogs when it's in neutral or when the clutch is fully pressed- So it's not fully disengaging either. I've had that once on a Mk2 after a new clutch plate (alone) was fitted. The pedal cable/hydraulic system will need adjusting/bleeding as well...
