  1. Just read from start to finish matey as has been said many a time previously, very nice motor you've got there! love the fitment you had with the rials after spacers, if you don't mind me asking, what were the wheel and tyre specs of those?
  2. As it says in the title, is anyone breaking a mk1 arosa, as you could make a lot of money from yours truly. All panels from the A-pillar forward and some suspension components (maybe). Preferably a sport, even more so in reflex silver, otherwise, i'll take whatever's going
  3. Crazy progress man! loving the look you had going with the alleycats, nice and tidy daily, but now its a full blown motor! love the work you've done to it mate, will be keeping an eye on this one
  4. Lots of potential. (Seat Mii alloys, so sue me)
  5. Very nice, i love the little touches you've thrown in here and there. Almost like a higher spec sport that VW never released!
  6. holy balls! Thats gonna be insane XD looking forward to this lol, make sure you get some videos up with a decent mic lol
  7. Not too bad a finish. Although i think part of the styling in the cambridge lights is that they're smoked, rather than blacked out. If i did it to mine i'd be much more conservative with the amount of spray i used. Looks good though, just as long as you don't try fobbing someone off that they're genuine, cos you could tell from a mile off!
  8. To: Website Orders Subject: VW Lupo/Seat Arosa Hi there, I am aware that no manual exists for either of these cars, and I am wondering if it possible to make requests. There are plenty of Lupo and Arosa owners who would benefit greatly from this, who at the moment are having to 'make do' with the 94-99 VW Polo manual, given the shared platform. Regards Curtis Elliott To: Curtis Elliott Subject: RE: VW Lupo/Seat Arosa Dear Curtis, Thank you for your email. A manual for the Lupo/Arosa remains under consideration and will be reviewed again in March. There are a number of factors used in our decision making process: sales, number of variations, availability of information from the manufacturer, priority of other models and workshop allocation to name just a few points we have to consider. I will add your request to our list and you are welcome to contact me for an update mid-March if you wish. I am sorry we are unable to help at present. Regards. Trevor. 9. Exactly my point >.< They asked if it had any mods, and i was like, amateur induction kit and a new exhaust, should be around 100bhp. Looked at the 'curve' and it was horrid! I'll get a scan in when i get chance.
  10. Well that was embarrassing... Took Joey to an open day at a local tuning place. Put him on the dyno for a laugh... 73bhp and a devoid of torque between 4 and 5k rpm... Well, a bloody good service, a map session, and some better induction work should sort that
  11. Any idea how to remove it? i wanted to black it by sanding it back to the plastic, but i don't fancy doing it in situ. Any idea how it comes away? the closest i can get is by taking the whole grille out...
  12. Crafty Bump. Bidding has started so the buy it now has gone. You could potentially have these for less than £20

if anything they're a smidge too low. I always knew i needed the tracking done as it has an ever so slight lean to the left when let go, I just had no idea that the tracking could affect stability at higher speed

Lol behave! At least I can differentiate between front and rear downforce and its effects on front and rear wheel drive XD Its all a learning curve right?
  15. just read through from beginning to end! Really like the progress that you've made on this, making the most of what you have and its turned out really well the new alloys look wicked, I was never a massive fan of P-Slots, so the 5 spokes are a huge improvement in my eyes!
  16. Always had a softspot for the open-airs plans look legit, look forward to seeing how this pans out
  17. Hey guys, just wondering if any of you have had any experience with the infamous 6n dashboard, and specifically, how to remove the ashtray from the bottom of it? Nevermind I got it
  18. A friend of mine wired in a rather elaborate setup into his megane. He had one red, one blue and one green led bunched together, with one bunch for each foot well. Using a relay and 3 slider switches he could create any colour he wanted using a combination of the three colours using a constant power feed.
  19. haha thats where i work, i'm there every weekend

I was hoping to get it sorted at the same time as I got my new wheels balanced. IT was the previous owner that lowered it, I'm surprised that he didn't get the tracking looked at

Its likely to be the camber as i've noticed its got quite a bit at the front. The setup is currently down 40mm on springs and shortened dampers.
