dodgy tracking/bushes
gordonbrown replied to gordonbrown's topic in Car Care, Maintenance and Mechanical
thats a relief, i dont like dying. any rough guess on how much it will cost for replacements, including labour, tracking, alignment and camber? D: -
i went to get my tracking+camber sorted a few weeks back but turns out the bushes in my wishbones are ****ed so that needed fixed before i bothered getting anything else lined up etc so i drove it home and left it in the garage for a while but upon mr vosa's need to poke around my car for my MOT i need to get it sorted...but that means driving it back into town, which is about 12 miles....i just want to know if its safe to do so, obviously taking my time and avoiding potholes etc. or wether not to bother upon risk of death/mutilation/lupo orientated disaster and pay loads and just get it towed or something?

dont know if you class it at motown or not but i love this song

ok so mr vosa is wanting to see my car soon and currently my lights look like this so hes not going to be pleased. then instead of a lovely fresh piece of green paper saying 'passed' on it im going to get that horrible red piece of $hite that says my car is an unroadworthy piece of scrap. sad face. that black burnt out piece of plastic is the part that the bulb itself plugs into and when i went to VW he did that horrible 'suck in air like its going to cost you a fortune' thing. then told me that its different to what lupos are meant to have and that someone has probably bodged it at some point. again, sad face. so, what i need is that new bit of plastic, which by the way (according to mr sucky air VW man) doesnt exist. or the rest of the loom, which im guessing is going to be a bit on the pricey side. so basically my question is, where the hell am i meant to get the bulb holder from, how much and what do yours look like? i really need this done for my MOT or ill have an eternity of lupoless influenced sadfaces, and i cant deal with that. someone help?

That's what I thought! Saying that though, if you lost your 3GS you'd just get the 4 instead of replacing your old one which makes then money lol -
yeah i noticed theyre pretty low in the car like, i just wanted to know how you actually go about getting them to fit!):
-
how much you paying for the bushes dude, you doing it yourself?
