  1. it'll need the pin-code if you disconnect the battery or the unit from the car.
  2. locking wheel bolt - take it into ur dealer parts department, and they can find out the bolt number from a master set, and get you the right one (one of about 10 different combinations) and yes, it should have the "get you home" kit, which is a bottle of gunk, an air compressor, wheel wrench, a screwdriver, and a loopy-shaped centre-cap puller! these parts are quite pricy from a dealer, ie compressor is £120 i think, gunk around £28, and so on!
  3. woohoo! nice one matey! tho its not from driving to no-rice meets!
  4. we've had loads of people come in with the same things, wing mirrors stolen, indicators, even wiper blades! i hope they didn't cut the wiring, coz it gets a little expensive and a pain sometimes to fix!
  5. as far as i know, you'll still need to see vw! they use the vas 5051 diagnostic machine to get the code!
  6. you'll have to go into ur dealer, as they have to use the diagnostic machine to get the code!
  7. dyou know how many colours there are? wouldn't have room for em all at work!!!!
  8. lol! i know what you mean! i love the look of my lupo, it stood out on a forecourt of cars that looked pretty much the same! nothing from any manufacturer is truly individual anymore!
  9. lupoclub.de if you use google and type in the address, they give you the option to do the language conversion! my german is worse than rusty! (prob like my english!)
  10. i quite like it! tho not sure on the fox gti, looks too tall!
  11. i agree with that! vqm's are a knightmare and bloody stupid too! quite proud to say that recently, the dealership i work for was awarded the highest vqm score in the country to date! don't know for the life of me how tho! it really astounds me the things that some dealers get away with! as i've said before, we're far from perfect, (even with the high VQM score!), but you have to remember that the customer comes first, and a disatisfied customer will NOT come back, no matter how much you try and bribe them to! pisses me off that one dealer ruins it for all of us in the network, as people always think we're all alike!
  12. 1) LUPOCHARGED 1600 SUPERCHARGED LUPO SPORT 2) Bossmaaan - totally standard Lupo GTI 3) tdw - wait and see 4) paulbin - 1.4 sport (hoping to get some stuff done in time) 5) Gurl_racer - 1.0L standard engine 6) LunaLupi - Standard 1.0L Arosa (with seat covers and SUEDE DOOR CARDS!!) 7) Grapo - Standard Lupo GTI (possible) 8) Lupogtiboy - Standard Gti bar Air Filter kit (possible)
  13. sorry to hijack ur thread, but here is a pic of the 3L dash! border="0" class="linked-image" /> back on topic now, drove an sdi lupo on a vw training course, and thought it went ok once you got it there, but definitely couldn't get out of a gti and into an sdi!
  14. to be honest, i just copied the info from cgti site! think this venue has potential, tho not on no-rice scale! was a good turn out for a 1st meet, but didn't really talk to anyone, as they all seemed to know each other already! and i was at the time, the only lupo there!
  15. give me a shout at work tomo and i'll check for ya! will need a chassis no tho! my work number is on my sig! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  16. yes mate i did! only stayed bout 45 mins tho, got there bout 5 mins after you left!
  17. yes, i believe ALL gtis are drive by wire, where they have a potentiometer on the accelerator pedal, and just an electrical contact on the throttle body
  18. mine was creaking bad on both sides, had one of the check straps replaced under warranty, and the other tightened up!
  19. when i was using one of these, i had to remove the original gti badge letters from the original grille badge, cut the legs from the back of the anni badge, and use double-sided tape to stick it down! the legs are different on the ani badge, coz the lupo gti uses a honeycomb grille and a golf anni doesn't! i've now got a mk2 gti 16v badge! had to mod it the same way!
  20. prob a switch gone in the door lock! only available with the lock tho i'm afraid!
  21. i really wanted to go to this! looks like we had a good turn-out!
  22. i believe you'll be fine without membership, i'm only a member of the forum, not paid up!
