LSP's and shampoo's do not make paintwork shine. Machine polishing ie correction & burnishing is what makes the paint shine! Gloss, clarity, depth and shine all come from polishing. LSP's are for protection.

Anyone? -
Hi, Bit of a strange request here but I remember a while back seeing an image of a red GTI and it was basically ploughing snow and had a very wintery background. I'm sure the image was on the Cleaned.be forum but I've had no luck on there. Anyone know it and can post it up? Thanks

Lupo GTI Max Protect Nano-Ceramic Protection Detail
aaronhtid replied to aaronhtid's topic in Detailing and Cleaning
Yes it will protect against swirls, the coating hardens thus offering scratch resistance. Your wash process should always remain as safe as possible as well though. Mine consista of: Rinsee, wheels cleaned n rinsed, foamed, left to dwell, rinsed, wash 2bm, rinse, final rinse with 0ppm filteted water to ensure the car is dry in no time with no water spotting. -

Lupo GTI Max Protect Nano-Ceramic Protection Detail
aaronhtid replied to aaronhtid's topic in Detailing and Cleaning
Your right my GTI was perfect as I had previously machined it to perfection so any shine I had all came from the prep however after application of Max Protect Ultimate Nano Coat V1 & V2 then topped with Max Protect Silk Coat the gloss and shine just enriched abd definitelly added to the finish we already had. MP has proven durability of 2 years plus and like any fully detailed car all mine will ever need is regular washing and occasional Sill Coat top up's. I would not compare this to C1! Max Ptotect is a 2 part (3part if you count Silk Coat) nano ceramic sealant that provides unrivalled protection and unbelievable gloss levels and unlike C1 can be used on all surfaces; paint, wheels, trim, rubbers, metal. Max Protect also have a dedicated glass sealant MP Ultimate Glass Coat V1& V2. Ultimate Nano Coat V3 is the UK's first nano metal sealant that provides rust and corrossion protection. Leather abd textile coatings are also available. If you have any Q's for the manufacturer about the products or sales get in touch via http://www.facebook.com/Maxprotectuk Cheers, Aaron -

Hi, Saturday - We have a Fife Detailing World meet; http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=264178 We have 2 manufacturers coming along to the Black Magic Detail studio; Max Protect UK & Permanon UK. The studio is based in Methil, Fife. The full address will be given to any members who wish to come along. The owner of MP used to work for Gtechniq but now has his own line of products and my car will be treated to a protection detail at the meet in the brand new exclusive Max Protect Ultimate Nano Coat & Glass Coat Pro. Have a look at this video of Max Protect in action; Youtube Video ->Original Video If anyone fancies coming along give me a buzz on here, PM or even on DW if your a member. Loads will be happening on the day including machine polishing demos and various other detailing related stuff. The 2 manufacturers will be doing application demos and showcasing their new products and I hear they'll even have unreleased products with them too, can't get any more exclusive than that. Cheers, Aaron

Anyone tried KleenFreaks out yet?
aaronhtid replied to JampotJamie's topic in Detailing and Cleaning
Theres so many things wrong with the above. You apply UC every month? Good way to strip any protection you have on your car, why you woukd do that I have no idea. So its a diminishing polish with hardly any abrasives? Great! You'll get nowhere! It's the abrasives in the polish that rejuvenate the clearcoat. It sounds like a pre wax cleaner, their OK for cleansing the paint before applying protection but are only needed every 3-6 months not once a month! Lastly, generally speaking VW paint is hard. Mine was like granite, so UC wont correct nothing or even take out light marring. What it will do is clean the paint to an extent but wont make it look like new again. 9 times out of 10 its the defects in the paint that deprive the paint from its true finish so if UC cant correct its pretty useless. All my opinion of course. -

I have heard of Kleen Freaks but havent used any of their products. What products are you looking for? Blister - why would you recommend Megs UC? I don't see the OP asking for a advice on a compound or polish. Bit of a pointless post IMO. -
Yes of course Please PM me mate, cheers.
