  1. Open ashtray, pull out the ash bucket thing, and it should be behind there. Then press the caps lock. Just kidding, I'm sure you just pressed it by accident.
  2. Craig mate, I hate to be an old man but riding a wee hardtail like that will just surely ruin your knees especially with the height of you. I used to ride about all day in the summer (good old days in school holidays) on my rig with the saddle right down and pointing upwards 'cos MBUK told me to style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />. Now my knees click every time I get up from kneeling. Fubaring my knees would also stop me skiing so I've started riding a sensible sized bike with a sensible saddle height and it has made the world of diference. Does a knee brace help this condition? I suppose not as it's wear rather than ligament damage (correct if wrong). Lots of the pros with knee damage (most of then eventually) have knee braces that they rave about. Dirt did an article on this once upon a time, I'll see if I can find it anywhere. Sorry to hear this dude but keep ripping about, it's good for (almost) every part of you!! (p.s. nice wheels/brakes, my personal choice also!)
  3. I'd rather use the carrier myself, I had my skis in my old loop and they marked the seats and the plastics under the dash. That said, if you do want to put them inside, drop the rear cushion, seat back, rock the passenger seat forward and they fit OK. Still looking for mega cheap thule stuff on ebay myself, don't think my bikes will fit inside.
  4. I like the bathursts more than the estorils style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="ph34r.gif" /> . BBS>bathursts>estorils>p-slots (IMHO)
  5. That pic with the huge neg camber is awesome style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shades:" border="0" alt="shades.gif" />
  6. Back to the future 'Mr Fusion' style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" /> Or, a more realistic feature for your poster, the BMW hydrogen 7-series.
  7. Yes, It's normal. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  8. Gave this a flash of the headlights in a queue today, anyone from here??
  9. Take the ticket to the parking office in merchant city and you should get off with it. I did when the glue on the back of my ticket melted. It was cool as long as I could present evidence that I had paid for said date/time.
  10. Blimey! Cool! (hate to be on the recieving end but they are FAR better). style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" />
  11. snap. wasn't expecting anything like that either, so it is really welcome.
  12. Car is running great, only thing is I would say is the clutch is a bit less positive (less stiff) then on the 1.4 I had before. It seems like the biting point is very sharp when the car is cold too. Gearbox is a joy to use as well, anyone who drives with me can tell I like changing gear, as I do it a bit more than is really necessary style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> so it really is a big plus that it is so snappy and I have another ratio to play with... Handling is good, you can certianly feel the difference the stiffer ARB makes. Dunlops are poop in the wet. The speed change aint half bad too style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> Erm, no, it hasn't style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />. My Mum drives it now, and she is a consummate worrier on the road, she could never hit anything. It has had a scratch on the front from some kind person touch parking into it, but thats all. Needed a new bush at MOT time, I wonder if that was because of the coilovers style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="whistle.gif" />
  13. I know the Estorils have had positive comments from many folk because they are different, but those RS are so ornate and classic. Your car to me is a modern, high spec version of a MK1 GTI and I think they suit that character better.
  14. Added some things to the car in the last month or so, Polo aero wiper border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> Stereo border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> Alpine ipod adapter border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> Sunglass holder, sprayed black. Not too happy with the finish, so I'm going to try again I think border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> Several layers of Megs NXT border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> And some other pics... border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> I am getting pretty severe alternator whine just now, so the car is going back into the shop to get that looked at. Needs a service and tax too. Anyhoo, I'm off to make like a beached whale after eating too much this afternoon...........
  15. No way! He is a proper legend as well style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> .

  19. Very good, dosn't need anything done to it either! (if you can keep your hands off it!)
  20. Find an old hard disk and crack it open. The magnets inside are UBER strong, so much so that they smash when you let them pull each other together style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" /> .
  21. Ive marked the ceiling already........ Good fun I agree, but not 400 quid good fun. He just got wii sports which is only fun for a while but is great when played with someone else. It isn't wrong, it's just different. Think i'd like a buy with more driving games though.....
  22. Back to it in the morning! YAY!

  25. Not surprising when english folk say they are lumbered with new labour because of the scots, is it?
