Hi mate I have the same problem which only started the over day. Mine sounds like its coming the top of the engine and cam belt area. but like you said after 2.5/3k RPM the noise goes away :/ Its puzzling me too..

Could be the Crack sensor. but sounds expencive what ever she had done. mines only on 47k too

Hey guys, Got a problem with my centeral locking. I have 2 keys and 2 working fob which look like this Think it was a factory fitted scorpio alarm system. Everything works fine up untill unlocking the vehicle. Where the Issue i'm having is that the remote sounds and turns off the alarm but I am then having to unlock the car by key. Tried reprograming the fobs by but no luck.. Any thing else I can try guys? Many thanks
