  1. Free wheels lol Took the fun right out of it, searching far flung small websites is far more fun than just picking up a phone and paying £33 per week for the next year or two
  2. Pretty cool then, ones themselves no help on basic wiring diagrams that you can cross reference to the vag ones
  3. What's going in for you to need one !
  4. I dont think your points add up, wheels are wheels to a certain extent to an insurance company , so wether you have serious wide wheels with arch mods or just simply a decent set up thats an inch or so wider than standard but fills the arch, they are both still declared and costly. If your doing nothing different whats stopping people just checking out the readers rides on here and seeing 20-30 cars basically done the same way as this one? And due to the silly amount of "will these fit" questions on forums you are either not selling many mags or selling them to the wrong people if you say you do loads of articles on offset and pcd etc .
  5. I *always speak sense, I'd also like crediting along with little baby Jesus in the magazine when you go down this route. *sometimes
  6. If its a serious question ill give an honest answer. Tbh even if its a stupid question but put across well then ill answer it But a thoughtless "show me, I'm to lazy to look" type question gets a shitty reply from me
  7. Ask a silly question get a silly answer. I do try sometimes though
  8. Can anyone find me a big boobed European bird who doesn't hassle me, cleans up and is like a porn star in bed. Not asking much really
  9. Save the money, if you cant do it properly to how you want it then dont do it at all. Keep that money to one side and then when your more insurance friendly you can dip into it and make something you'll be happy with, the fact that your asking now suggests you wouldnt be happy if it was left high on a set.
  10. Oh if thats the case then ill write you out a comprehensive step by step guide on exactly how to do it.......................................
  11. Karl Mac you have just been added to my fail list.
  12. Now if you had picked a set of wheels that maybe needed spacers or adapters you could of used it as an excuse to educate your readers on PCD and Offset rather than APR and credit ratings. You could have picked a few that crossed genres and styles, maybe a thinner set/high offset and talked about tuck, or a wider set/low offset and then debated tyre choice. See where im going with this ...............................................
  13. If i want genuine seat wing mirror that i know will fit..............................................id go to seat .
  14. Im guessing the articles demographic is aimed around the 17-19 year olds who as of yet dont own a set of spanners. I understand the point of the article is to do it on the cheap but de badging and a set of rotas isnt exactly setting the world on fire. Originality doesn't always cost big ££££, any kid can pick up a mag and ring for a wheel and tyre package that will fit easyish and on a monthly payment scheme lol Why not write in a style that will help people go out and try a few things, think for themselves and learn, rather then sit by the door waiting for a delivery guy then taking them down to a tyre place to get them fitted.
  15. Im not sure you are working this out correct. Original width might help decide if the wheels will fit inside the arches, plus the tyre choice. But if they are ET38 then a spacer of 12mm will in my basic basic finger and toes maths method make them ET26. The easiest method of checking for scrubbage is to measure........ with a tape or rule.
  16. Does no one even try to do something even a touch different anymore.
  17. Take lupo engine out, put crx engine in place. Level up with wood and axle stands and measure a few times then fab up some mounts, cut and weld. Make drive shafts. baffle yourself with the wiring and either A- make it all work and have a 160bhp car or B-bang it on ebay with the tag "unfinished project"
  18. This sounds fishy. Whats the centre bore of your wheels, if you dont know take one off and measure. You need 10mm hubcentric 4x100 spacers with a centre bore of 57.1mm If your wheels are standard 57.1mm centre bore then do a little victory dance as all you need to do is tighten all the bolts up. If your wheels have a larger centre bore then take type that number along with the numbers 571.mm and the words spigot rings into ebay and then pay.
  19. Lets not do the Harlem shake and be different
  20. Über rare and retro dog **** white
  21. The fact that it isn't even a chip should give it away
  22. Why would you want to adjust your fuel pressure, are you running itbs or boost ?
  23. And then you can tell people you've touched a set of flaps
