  1. Is it sitting lower at the back than at the front? Or could just be the picture...
  2. You'll end up selling the Mini and buying a GTi, so see you again soon
  3. Thanks When are you showing us your grey Lupo? I bet you're not the only one who took a picture of both our cars together Do you also have a brand new set of starlites in the attic?
  4. Looks much better than it did on the green wheels!
  5. Pity, I'm after red door cards... GLWTS!
  6. What colour is the interior, please?
  7. It's good news, but a bit of a disapointment with just 115bhp imo
  8. Good to know the car is up and running now!
  9. I'm itching to get the BBS's on. Annoyingly it's the first thing I bought after buying the Lupo 1.5 years ago and they're still not on... Gotta love living far away from home Thanks I'm using 185/55/14. All is well! I'll add just a couple other pictures, seeing as you liked the new winter wheels
  10. Getting there! When do you expect it to be up and running?
  11. As winter is slowly approaching, I had my winter tires swapped over some Starlites which I bought this summer. They came on some Dunlops dating from the beginning of 2001, which makes me think the wheels were only ever mounted on that one set of tyres. They were quite cheap and have a few (many) scuffs. But they're better than plain black steelies, and they look great from a distance! Excuse the dirty car, it's cold and I couldn't be bothered to go wash it...
  12. Oh really? Who would've thought?
  13. I'm talking about reverse lights, not indicators! Look at my car, left one has/had water coming in: PS. Do they make aftermarket Cambridge lights?
  14. Right reverse light is darker. Left one is how they both should look
  15. It's been lowered -30mm front and rear. Thanks
  16. Looking good! One of your rear lights (right one) is getting some water in. I have the same problem on my left one The badges look funny, why did you place them like that?
  17. Not a fan of the steering wheel, then again I like the standard one a lot. Loving the Janspeed! I wish I could have one over here
  18. ^All that will keep it going for years. All you have to do is enjoy it now
  19. That's looking very nice!
  20. Mine was doing the same. VAGCOM threw up a code for the pressure switch, but changing it didn't solve the thing. I have a friend who works for an aircon company (industrial) and offered to lend me a hand checking what could be wrong with mine. Turns out it was the compressor, which engaged but didn't seem to compress. We fit a used compressor, recharged the gas and it's working perfectly now
  21. Out of those you suggest, the Mini is probably the one that's closer to the Lupo. Both in terms of driving and philosophy. I don't think it's worth changing a Lupo GTi for a Mini tho.
  22. Oh, that second glovebox Yeah I know. But I'm not changing the whole interior just for the rear door cards... It's funny, the first time I saw the car in pictures I didn't like the red inside. Now I wouldn't change it for anything! Also, I'm not finding the KW's as harsh as I thought they would be

    VW NEWBIE

One of the best colours around and looks very clean! Welcome!
  24. Nope. I've got normal red panels at the back, no mesh! At least it has a glovebox They did in the UK, not over here tho
