  1. Went Vue down Plymouth, watched Quarentine (wasnt bad!) and was about 1:30, barely anyone around. I drive away, and there are two exits. One takes longer to get to, and this one was literally ahead of me, so obv, I go for the easy option. But it wasnt easy at all. Ran into one of these: Annndddd yyyyyeeeehhhh Got stuck, reversed, stupidly, FB got caught on the spikes. Tried lots of different methods to keep the spikes down to reverse off it. Had to jack the car up with the poncy one in the spare wheel well, whilst on a hill slant so was dangerous. Jacked it up eventually, was originally gunna take off the front two wheels, heighted the coils, and return it back down, but it was late, and I could not be ****ed with that, plus it was nearing kick out time for the local club. So used whatever I had in the car to lay the spikes down, so used my trusty £10 skateboard, and a 2005 AA Road map, as well as my broken car parts! Laid the car back on top, and reversed succesfully. But then heard a eerie clicking. Looked under and part of the inner arch lining was ripped off and was scraping on the floor and also rubbing against the cam belt so just had to literally rip that from under the car to save the belt. Damage: Smoothed front bumper is now back to two parts.. fully on the left, but only partly on the other side. Front bottom lip of the bumper is ****ed as above, tempted to get the thing sanded off now, with two large cracks, and two dents from the spike. Underside of the FB is now ripped off on the left side. Some inner arch plastic lining. Possible cam belt damage. Clutch (feels like its going anyway lol)
  2. Custom arches from a Corsa put on. Lollllll no dont say that Cheers Haha yeh I no, will get it lower next year, in the sunny sunshine. Too cold for this **** now Months! Get on it now lol Good to have more peeps in the Classics club
  3. Saturday night, off out at 6, wanted car done, all needed was polishing, and buffing. Got it done though. Got me badger done, and got my li'l Vault Boy Bobblehead popping out of the parcel shelf there! And at our chav hangout, havent seen this lad for 5/6 months, the day after I get my whip finished, he's there. (GTI FrntBump, Badboy bonnet, standard 1L engine, no backbox on exhaust, 15" dish alloys [cant remember name], not slammed, custom tailgate which I need to get pics of as its something unseen before!) He was kinda' jealous of my car, thinking he was the only Lupo in Plymouth Scraped... 15 times since sat night... bottomed out oo few times! All good fun!
  4. Quoted 180 for me, although that is to smooth the entire roof in, removing the rubber sills on top, and just having a complete roof.
  5. When I went court I was compensated £70 which took him 3/4 months to pay me. All in one installment mind.
  6. How far have you guys gotten? Me and mate got to Wave 10, and with 4 of us we achieved Wave 14 lol
  7. Yeh he is holding his shoulder as literally about 2 minutes beforehand he dislocated his shoulder... that was a scary moment
  8. Haha yeh I wish I had the guts to go that far with the red theme!
  9. wanted a Polo, but when I went to see one, it was shocking. First impressions count. Then the next was the Lupo (was always weary as it was stereotyped as a womans car) And parents were always pro-vw (now they go for Jap though :|) So glad I did because of the people I have met and the whole scene is amazing.
  10. Swear I saw this on Pistonheads :S Love it though LOL
  11. buy them then do the necessary work. I got my ATS's for 450, pulled by fez due to poke, now spending another 450 on custom arches. To me it's worth it because I get the look I want. Unless the wheels you are after are RIDICULOUSLY expensive?
  12. you do those shades graduents with rectanglur selection tool with slot of feather then manip the perspective? Or pen tool (FTW) selection with alot of feather? Or neither ...

  15. I did this 2 weeks back. Just stuck on by 2 double sided circular pads, easy to take the badge off but more annoying taking the pads off the back of the badge and the other ones off the rear itself LOL My paint job come out shocking too, last bit of handy work I do
