or even lower profile 145/60/13. great fun. 145/60 are 8% lower profile than 155/70, your acceleration/gearing would be a lot faster/shorter. sidewall down from 4.3" to 3.4"

how about some 135/70/13 ? low profile and very small! i tell you you would think you would have a rally car with the sliding you could do, and power spins.

the high end power band of the cams is part of the reason of the fun of getting them. keeping high revs is enjoyable not a chore in my view. and with the 6 speed box of the gti it practically does it for you already.

dam. we already have ridiculous lupo bras for the bonnet. this will inevitably lead to lupo thongs being draped over the twin tailpipes of gti.

whats wrong with standard security? or is it just the gti that has the alarm fitted with motion sensors etc as standard.

i would have thought piggyback chip mapping would have been ok also as they can take in the sensor signals i believe.

yeah i meant gti. i was shocked at how poor the dunlops are for traction, its as if they were a budget tyre from linglong or something. but they are so expensive aswell. where is the money gone that went into making that tyre god only knows.

yeah all cats lose you power upto about 5bhp on na cars. the only reason you could lose power is by not having the sensors/map setup properly. cats do not give you more bhp full stop.

i'm sure the official 0-60mph figure would be in the early 7's if they didnt use dunlop.

soft suspension at rear allows understeeer, stiff suspension at rear promotes oversteer. same with tyres, have softer at front and harder at rear will give more traction to the front and promote oversteer.

you missed a bit on the left. looks a lot better. must get it done for black gti.

white goo is fine. never seen brown goo that doesnt sound acceptable. the white comes from heating and cooling of the oil. had it in my old car but not the gti. the engine was fine.

coilovers tend to give a harder ride than a normal suspension kit.

yeah i'm not the only one that thinks the message of the advert is that its apoorly put together car. and in the quickest time possible without taking care over it. bad marketing. they should show how a car is really made then show it going fast on a track and on the limit, more honest and more relevent.

gti is cheaper group than 172 cup. he's saying the cup is not much different from the arosa from last years premium. i would have thought overall the gti would be cheaper even though its worth twice as much.

they are fast. but they are plasticy, if you know what i mean, and not in a good lotus type way.
