i wonder where the radiaotor will be and what size it is, or even if there will be more than 1, like miniature ones. there is very little open spaces on the front end, good for aero.
  2. what do you mean wrong? the exhaust system has mounts not just on the rear section but further up towards the front aswell, as far as the cat converter. this will effect the hang of the tailpipes. but it may not be the actual reason.
  3. what about rear brakes from an ibiza cupra?

    that would be excellent.
  5. i realise both your points about not liking something so dont experience it. my only point was that i think this club can be very unfriendly. thats quite funny about the accountant.

compared to the fox its a supermodel. i think it will look a lot nicer in real life than in pictures. as the small is beutyful thing will take effect. it manages to look quite modern generic from the rear though, aygo c1 107 etc. but its not too bad. if VVL stands for variable valve lift that would be good. i apprecaite they need economy versions, but there is a hugh market for the sport versions aswell so i'm actually quite confident at least one of the vw/seat/skoda versions will have the gti spirit.

not fantastic design, but at least its small. unless they make the 1.2 with a turbocharger i wouldnt be interested in it.
  8. according to autoexpress this is the showroom look for the UP!, not a concept. These will come in petrol or diesel guises, and have a capacity of around 600cc. Both units are likely to be turbocharged, and VW is targeting CO2 emissions of less than 100g/km and combined fuel economy of 94mpg. A 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol motor is under consideration, too. the micro-car from Skoda, which will be its first rear-engined model since the Estelle. Given Skoda’s desire to go its own way in terms of design, the new entry-level machine is likely to benefit from a markedly different shape to the up! It is expected to debut around a year or so after the VW reaches showrooms. Meanwhile, a small car based on the up! will fill the gap left in the SEAT line-up when the Arosa was axed in 2004. Expect to see it debut at around the same time as the Skoda version, with both models getting the same VW-developed two-cylinder petrol and diesel engines as the up!
  9. all i'm saying is that this is the most unfreindly forum i have been on, i'm not making it up, i have the same "poor social skills" on other forums but dont have any of the issues like i get from thugs on here.
  10. i knew you would say that nicki, this is an example of the unfriendliness of some of the clublupo members, so condescending. i have a brain, i can decide myself if i prefer to be somewhere else i dont need to be told repeatedly. perfect example. and predictable.
  11. this is the most unfriendly forum i have been on there are lots of mental retards on here . but i havent been on lots of car forums to compare so it could be a lot worse. the best ones for being able to be yourself are the car forums linked to commercial companies/businesses and not private forums/ car club owners etc. they dont allow abuse and are moderated . my favourite is 4car. boy the amount of diesel arguments i have had on there is great.
  12. yeah i have had this happen to me, for ages it was perfect then suddenly i noticed it was lower, but i dont know why. it could be from a mount well upfront, as the rear hangers look ok to me.
  13. good job. does look quite oem. i'm going to the grill on the other side where there is a hole also. about the rain or even a bucket of water thrown in there is not a problem, filters can take getting a little wet. small amounts of water that even get past the filter are not a problem either.
  14. i'm sure a 60bhp clutch wont handle 140bhp. or the gearbox itself? drive shafts will be very small also. you would need to strengthen the arosa stock parts i would have thought. i wouldnt get hopes up of saying bye bye to a gti though. unless you mean on a drag strip. the arosa would be a lot heavier than a gti.
  15. i would say the petrol pump already tells you how much it costs.
  16. glad i could help! tax free and no city congestion charges. also when your in a hurry you can pick it up and run.

    oil changed

hold the button down where the milage display is, then turn on the ignition, wait until the screen flashes, then it will clear the notice.
  19. hmm doesnt make much sense, never speak to those garages again they sound like morons. remap/chip will take you to about 130ish bhp.
  20. he must have done an accidental reverse hand brake turn with maximum power, and a lucky flip off and obstacle under one of the wheels. 10 points.
  21. garages change your engine oil and stamp your service book. they have nothing to do with turbocharger conversions.
