if you want to use the tray method which is pretty nifty, you'll have to get a lower model bit which has a stash box and a cup holder. GTI's came with two cup holders. I like my stash box.

I swear by autosol. it's slightly abrasive so does a good job. peek sucks, I used to nick it from a place I worked at and it isn't as good. the autoglym stuff is dissapointing too. brasso paper isn't too bad if you get stuck.

I reckon if you can get it looking good for as little as possible you're onto a winner.

don't take idea's, just make your own. anthracite and raven blue are my two fav gti colour's.
