  5. Driving the loop has me looking at 320D's. Petrol is not the way forward, although I do need to get around to making a mk2 VR for the summer.

  7. Definately a strange one. If you're planning on using these items to upgrade your 75 bhp version, I suggest you do some more reading. If there's any other reason, enlighten me and I'll see what I can do.

  10. Driving a derv or a petrol depends on how many miles you do, also the duration of the journeys, stop/start. I drive a TDI and I get about 50 mpg, £30 to tax and I love the thing.

  12. You still empty the tank when it's full. But you do need the vacuum the pipe produces to keep things moving.
  13. Black isn't a bad choice. You could just get a quote to get it painted, it's an easy panel as it's not likely to be dented and it's easy to mask off.

  16. You can cheat and install an aftermarket RCL kit which eliminates the need to put the key in the door to activate the central locking.

  19. The microswitch is the internal door lock, I think it's about £90 for that part. Bad times.
