sold my mk4 1.8t to get mine and it is loads better. handles better, cheaper to run and you dont see one everyday and when you do you are actually interested in it. Its the closest thing to a mk1 gti...... thats what started it all

Good point, I will just turn up then, look out for the caddy next to a lupo gti!Will update the thread fully with final build pics and show pics. Have spent 80 hours already on the caddy and still got to clean the lupo for the show!See you all there, I am trusting my girlfriend to drive my lupo up to the show!!!! fingers crossed

I bought a trolley jack for mine from machine mart and it was less than £30.... fits under my low lupo easily Its a 2tonne jack and is quite good quality. I will look 2 night when I get to my workshop and let you guys know what model it is.... The machine mart guys in my local one were very helpful and took a couple of jacks outside to try on the car!

Think that may of been mine parked on the far side. Was hoping no1 would see it.....very dirty, didnt get a chance to clean it before the show I think I saw your old man's car, very nice. My old man has a audi ur turbo but wouldnt let me bring it!

Some more Gloucester recon work, I saw a really fit girl driving the red 02 plate and she wasn't hanging around..prob stole it again from her boyfriend! Jen - no1 knows much about me, keep things on the down low!

You could buy mine and I will get a professional paint job done at my dads paintshop in what ever colour you want... Car and new paint 7k... bargain. Cash before pink paint of course!!!

Yeah I go to UWE. I did see a sport down the road, is it the red one? My dad done the wheels/black roof and full respray for me, he's got a couple of bodyshops in Gloucester. Some w4nker keyed my car a few months ago hence the respray. You like the wheels, they are metallic black with silver flakes laid over them....

I will make you all wait... Not too sure still on the colour, got the paint supplier getting something special in. and its not rainbow flakes. I have however done my bats in pearl black and laid a silver flake over. Will post some good pics when they are on my car...

update. Car is going into workshop on monday. I will start the prep and should be finished on friday. Got my bats done and ready to fit. Car will be having a full re spray. Well, pink is out of the question, dad just done a mx5 in pink with lambo doors, looks horrid. Pearl white is a possiblity however I am thinking of R32 blue! But an exterme colour change is alot of work....

I have some time off from uni and my dad has finally agreed to respray my car. He owns 3 workshops so no bodge on the driveway! He has already done my roof and in the process of refurbing my bathursts. I was thinking of a pearlescent silver. Any pics of nice silver modified cars would be great in helping me choose a colour!

I bought one at midnight on the launch night and was returned by 9.30am next morning as they were not sold out and couldnt make any cash on ebay! Bring back the wii and 360 launch! I was the first to return one in the UK to any HMV store!

Hi, Me and some mates are entering the student gumball and I drew the short straw and have to take my car! I thought that a VW mag may want the story as im taking the Lupo GTi and they could send some sponsorship money our way too. Any ideas on the best mag to approach???? Or if anyone has a company that would like some sticker space, pm me...

But I am not selling for a while so should get back what I paid... They book at loads less, hence my steal as I bought it from an auction, then found out it was from an owner on here that had part ex it for a mini cooper works!

Not really, I will keep quiet about my steal then!
