For this time if year it probably wouldn't expand at all. I only vent it once and it's normally around 5pm then be driving it the next morning I haven't had any problems yet. So far I've got 340.7 miles without the light coming on which is nice. And yes I trip the dials after every fill up too. I have just had a lighter stainless exhaust and the proper sized battery which weights quite allot fitted so this might be helping

The head unit itself is by far the worst changing that before the speakers is what I did there not too bad.... But I did then go out and buy bose speakers for the rear to give better sound displacement as the two fronts just sounded awful nothing behind

Dub was that with filling the extra tank? I get more miles with shell nitro+ and millers cleaner compared to normal diesel and Millers. You got a heavy foot a heavy foot or something? Like rossi said isn't a map supposed to improve this? I've done egr delete. Green cotton filter. Cat delete and free flow exhaust. Next is going to be a map tie it all in and make use of them just hope I get at least the same mpg if not better

Did my egr blanking plate and even made the flap in the egr stay open and I've had no error code and certainly warms up quicker than my golf tdi.

Anybody got this in the Oxford area?

Wish mine did 360-380 before the light! Mine does around 330 been thinking about mapping it to improve it.

It's fiddly buy the egr blank. Take the engine cover off then at the back where the big pipe in the left goes into is the egr then follow the small pipe that comes off at the back that goes onto the turbo then I'd undo either side and put the blank in preferably the turbo side if you can get to it. Hope it helps

I'm thinking currant drain the battery has been power tested. Still also Green bubble. Been on solar charge for the last 4 days so far the instrument cluster has remembered the time.

Hi rossi I came about some braided lines on eBay earlier looking for things for my arosa. I certainly noticed a difference when I did a brake upgrade on my golf. My brakes on my arosa are also not that brilliant new lines and brake fluid will be my first port of call.

As the topic says really when engine is on alternator pumps out over 14v Batt holds charge with tester on it any ideas?

Hi guys I have a set of stubby mirrors on my mk4 golf from an arosa which are electric got them from a guy on eBay id love a stubby for the drivers side on my arosa now as it's bigger than the one on my golf lol

Put springs dampers on my mk4 golf and just did the lupo gti suspension upgrade on my arosa and the ride quality feels about the same my arosa is a daily roads are shite around Oxford

For me its very useful having a how to even for the head light bulbs as its so tight and awkward its handy for people doing this for the first time to see that it can be done at home rather than getting a garage to do it,

Hi mate I've been thinking this myself but I've been told that the gti suspension fits the non gti s but the non gti s won't fit the gti due to extra camber adjustment on the shocks I've managed to get hold of some gti dampers so I'm half way there lol

It certainly is a three cylinder it sounded better than saying all threes :-\ going to get some gti front dampers so she handles alot better rather than me feeling like I'm driving a boat :-)

I was thinking this myself, i was thinking if trying the lupo gti back box or if that don't work i know an exhaust place that will do want i want in stainless :-)

Hi tom not far at all, its in red. you prob know my paint guy in Abingdon Mervyn Beckett ? hope yours is in better condition than mine i don't think mines been cleaned in about 3 years! I've cleaned it twice and is getting better, steam cleaned the interior and general tidying around :-)

A bit of an update they checked the glow plus and they said i had half of one so I'm kinda lucky it started at all! also said the ecu had a few codes on it from the egr to other things. it also didt wanna start again? But when it did it was firing on all fours! :-) i must admit she goes well that well, to distances my golf beats it by 10 mph every time which when you think my golf is running around 160ps its very good going! Not much i can takes pics of really the needle sits at the same rpm just takes alot longer to get anywhere, they also fixed a ball joint a track rod end, tracking as a wheel was off by 2 degrees! Did say the front dampers was soft but working as they should.
