  1. Ask Damien from DPM Performance on here. He sells them for around £180, so does Richard @ Venom Motorsport.
  2. Just gets the rear sitting a little better if that's your sort of thing! Really easy. Just jack the car up and take the adjusters out! Then zip tie the springs in place so they don't fall out when you jack it up again (sounds sketchy but it's really not)!
  3. ^awesome! Thanks for letting us know
  4. Looking good man and it's come along nicely. Got to say I've never really Seen a car those wheels look good on, but they suit yours! Thought about taking the adjusters out on the rear to get it sitting a little lower on the rear?
  5. Think it was 2 years ago. I'm sure I have the magazine at home somewhere, as I was genuinely intrigued to see what they did and if I could pick up some ideas. The wheels were given to them by Rota. I understand supporting your sponsors, but I think it would have been great to see them search for a nice 2nd hand set of wheels and really do it on a budget! Glen did post on here a few times about the build, then all of a sudden it went quite and wasn't seen anywhere (until now at least)! It's here... http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php?/topic/94023-fast-car-lupo-project-page-2-what-wheels/
  6. Are you low? No way you'll be able to tuck 8j's without having rolling the arches and adding some camber at the least! Might just get away with 7j's with ET20, but you'll still have to roll the arches.
  7. I agree with what you're saying Silver, but modifying your car on a tight budget doesn't have to mean sacrificing the finish and making it look like it has been built on a budget! There are so many things and little neat touches they could have to really inspire a 1st timer, rather than buy this, buy that for scene points! But tbh, it wasn't really a tight budget if you think about it. The wheels retail at ~£500 new, (+ new tyres at ~£200), the seats ~£200, the suspension ~£200, plus the audio and headunit and it's not really much of a budget build after all!
  8. It's a case of getting a car accessible to young people and cramming it full of their sponsors items, in the hope that all the kids will spend loads of money buying their sponsors items. Max Power died years ago now, as did Revs and (unfortunately) Redline, as that became a decent mag about performance tuning. Just to add though, that Lupo is a pile of ****! Just look how they've painted the plastic lower front bumber for a start!
  9. Blue ones aren't made as yet and I'm not 100% sure I'm going to sell them. The original red ones are available to buy now though!
  10. Hey, great to hear you like them! You can buy one today and it'll be posted out on Monday! Order details on 2nd page of the thread! :D
  11. Black will look cool dude! Especially with the White background!
  12. Looking good buddy! I had a set of Teledials in pink, sold them on straight though away haha! They'll look really nice polished and I was going to do mine. Either polished or something shiny!
  13. *Update - Different colours on the keyrings* I know the demand on these isn't massive, but I quite like them so I'm going to make a few more. I'm going to do a small re-run of the original colour scheme to stock up, but at the same time produce some with different colours in the 'Club Lupo' part. I have a soft blue Lupo, so I'm going to do some in soft blue (as seen below...) So my question to you guys is - What colour schemes do you want? If we enamel them all at the same time, then we can do a few different colour schemes!
  14. You want to get hold of the Performance VW Magazine show special. It has a calender inside with plenty of show dates on! Also Dub Fiction is a good local show in Bakewell in June/July. Quite a few of us went who are on here!
  15. Thanks mate. Should see you around soon when the show season kicks in?
  16. I actually need some black rear headrests and black plastics!
  17. Thinking about it, these *might* actually be VW specific fitment because an MX5 has a center bore of 54.1 and the old Civics have a center bore of 56.1, both smaller than the VW Lupo 57.1 center bore. Anyway they will fit fine!
  18. So I managed to get the right bolts together and fit the buckets in the Lupo at the weekend. Really didn't get along with them, so sold them yesterday This is how they looked...
  19. Like I said above, take the helper springs out the front and have custom rear springs in the back! that is the lowest 'off the shelf' coilover kit for the Lupo.

    LUPO COILOVERS

You can buy them new for about £170 with next day delivery. Go to DMP Performance or Venom Motorsports website.
  21. Here you are mate - http://www.dpmperformance.co.uk/car-parts/volkswagen/lupo/fk-ak-street-coilover-suspension-kitlupo-10-14-14tdi-gti-16-17sdi-1097
  22. I'll reserve judgement till I've seen how they look then!
  23. Love your rear door cards mate, they look sweeet! I've been meaning to do mine for a while now, so could I ask where you got the material? eBay? Personally though, I wouldn't paint your wheels black. I think it makes them blur in and look a bit mehh. Just my opinion though, as I'm loving the updates!
