Looks lovely! Raven is without doubt the best colour Good luck with finding the wheels, I think the Bathursts look best on the GTi's so they'd be great for the shows. I've had mine refurbed in White - not everyone's taste though lol - Anthracite will look awesome, it was one of the options I was looking at Edit: Just noticed your mats, I have the same ones and I have blue Recaro's lol, if it wasn't for the steering wheel and the reg I'd be checking outside my house to make sure my car's still there! Thanks Emz. I've looked online, I think I'm gonna have to have a chat with my friend Sarah as she should be coming with me again. It's £120 nearly for the holiday inn but less than 40 quid to stay in the grays 5mins up the road. Will see what she wants to do x

Can I just check which hotel people are booking? The Holiday Inn is rather expensive so need to know if there's another one close by else it'll be a Travelodge about 10mins drive away for £45!

I'm really looking forward to UD now, can't wait for the weather to get a bit better so I can get proper car washing again, I've missed it with all the snow and stuff

The only big companies I know of through work are Copart and HBC Salvage but I think they tend to sell complete cars which probably isn't what you're after. (Still not swapping my blue GTi you saw at Edition )

That's fine Ellie, although if I can suggest one of the first 2 weekends of December that'd be great. Fran and I have our work do's on the same day which is the 17th and then the 24th is obviously xmas eve. I can do Friday or Saturday nights though. Happy to organise a hotel too if we end up in Bristol or somewhere! I'm sure we can find a travelodge or holiday inn

I wouldn't say the thread's been dead at all Ellie, the time and date has been set, people have confirmed they're going. I'm still up for going, Ed seemed pretty definite last weekend when I saw him at Edition and Toffs has said he'll pop along with Ed. I'm bringing Fran and Jeni with me, Rich is following me. I didn't think it was about the amount of cars, there was only about 7 cars last time but nearly 15 of us! I've cleaned the car this afternoon so I'm more than happy still to go. Be a nice day out with the girls if nothing else!

I'm sorry, I just don't understand why you would spend all that money on a brand new car, keep it garaged for 8months of the year and never use it. I can see why he thinks it's worth a lot more than your average 02 reg but seriously, having 15,000miles doesn't double the value of the car! I'd prefer a newer one with similar miles to be honest. Can't stay I'm the biggest fan of cars that stand around most of their lives...... although someone's bound to say it's not a problem. I'd just prefer to have a car that's actually been used.

Just had some rather dodgy looks in work this morning - Journey "Don't Stop Believing" came on the radio at half 11. I just started laughing to myself with my drunken flashbacks of Saturday night/Sunday morning standing around Liam's friend's car singing along with everyone! Must. Not. Drink. Wine. Next. Year.

I had a really good weekend, nice to catch up with everyone! So glad to have booked today off work lol. No pics lol, I'm useless and forgot batteries for my camera. Nevermind!
