I've seen this one too. It was in the car park of the Calder Island pub on Wednesday night. It's a girl who drives it but I don't know who she is.

It was good apart from my mate smashing up his car. I'd definately go again.

There's a few of us going over. Me in the Loop, and mates in the following: A BMW 325, BMW 328, Bmw 316, 106 GTi, and a Porsche 944. I'll probably see you there. Just look for the out of place chap standing next to a Silver Lupo GTi.

How are you getting there? We're catching a ferry from Dover at 14.00. Can't wait to get there now. Only four more sleeps!!!!

I think it's just out of Nurburg. Like I said my mate has sorted it. He's been a few times before and I'm sure he said it was just a short drive to the 'Ring.

We're staying at the Haus Marvin. A mate of mine has organised it, he's stayed there before and says it's not too far from the track.

I'll be there at the same time. I'll be at the 'Ring on the 28th and 29th. Then it's off to Italy and to the Stelvio pass. I can't wait!!

Dammit! I'd love to do this and I'm in Germany then too! But I'll be on my way from the Nurburgring to the Stelvio Pass.

I'm going to the Ring in June with a few mates in BMW's. We're off to the Stelvio Pass as well. Should be awesome.

I'm sorry to anyone who may have felt that my post was a waste of time. I just thought that you may have found it amusing and might possibly have learnt something from my misfortune. If you'd rather give me a load of abuse and complain about me moaning that I got done for having plates that we all know are illegal then fine. But I thought this forum was a place to make friends who have similar interests. Seems I was wrong. To those who sympathise with my tale of woe, I thank you.

As I was driving home from work today an officer of the law took it upon himself to pull me over. As I got into his car he asked me in a sarcastic German accent if I spoke English. He then went on to tell me that my plates were illegal because of the D badge and that my 5 looked like an S!!!! He appeared to take great pleasure in issuing me with a £30 fine. Then he went into the back of his car and pulled out a Polaroid camera and took some pictures of my car. Apparently they are gonna be sent to the DVLA and if I am caught with the plates on again I will have my registration number taken away and will be issued with a Q plate. I'm sorry for the absurd length of this post, it just annoyed me. And to make things worse, he failed to see the Audi A4 that went arsing past as I was pulling over. God I hate Thursdays.

I'm going. Should be a little convoy of us. not all Loops though.
