i have a lupo sport, and i have heard rumours of the gearboxes being crap on them and going, i am also considering putting a gti 1.6 enginge into the car, i was wondering if the lupo gti engine with 6-speed gearbox will be more reliable than the normal 5-speed on the sports(pedal box going etc.) thanks

if it is the water pump, wont the car overheat?

i have a lupo sport with signs of the pedal box going, but i have just recently had the gearbox reconditioned, i had the car booked in for a service and vw said they would not touch it as i have had a recon gearbox, where do i stand with this?

ebay, there s acompany called motorsinmotion i think they charge something like £120 for a door, not sure on the quarter panel

i think you can get edges from halfrods, they will come in a strip, a few members have a red edges around thier grilles on the gtis
