Mine will sound pretty raw between 5k and touching redline, probably throatier than my old aftermarket backbox that i had on my Polo but that was pushing out a g force pulling 50BHP!! Autosol metal polish works for me. May need 2 applications, 1 to get any sooty residue off then another to polish it up. Dont do it after a long drive tho! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":lol:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Has anyone got breakdown cover ?? I used to be covered under VW roadside with my maintenance plan but as that is up Im thinking of investing in some more cover. Dont fancy running home from somewhere far away with the tyre weld! Anyone have a good plan here?? Cheers Jon

I agree totally, I have to go down some stretches of dual carriageway everyday to work and back and the number of arseholes I have pull out in front of me to overtake cars without a thought that im going to be faster than them. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":angry2:" border="0" alt="angry.gif" /> Frustrates me loads, especially when people sit in the right hand lane and do 45 because "they will be turning right at the next island" And then they get mad when I undertake. (occasionaly) Also what is it with the fog light in the rain crap? Do I really need to see 4 lights reflecting off the wet roads instead of 2? Always some barry in a corsa SXI or a clio. Rant over.

Im in the same thinking as marc uk, When I eventually get round to buying coilovers (keep talking but not buying) I am tempted to get the silver line highsports. From the KW website showing all the pics in difference between their inox line and other non stainless coilovers i think stainless is a good precaution to have. Im gonna pop to Midland VW tomorrow and perhaps ask their views on them, as xmas is approaching santa mite visit Germany for my gift this year!! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

Had my 3rd year service yesterday, The last one as part of my finance plan so last abuse of free servicing! As expected I have been told my front pads are 95% worn (i noticed this about a fornight ago when hard braking, brakes really droned). The stealers have quoted £96.78 all Inc which I take as that including labour?? Any of you guys upgraded to pads such as Miltek, greenstuff etc and what sort of cost would I be expecting for parts plus labour at a local garage. ballpark figures please?? Cheers guys/gals.
