  1. But a ford engine....
  2. could the ones you have bought be for a polo?
  3. Basically where the cup holders go inside there is 2 oblong shaped pieces of plastic that stick out (where the cupholders sit when closed) measure twice, cut once. The grey interior plastic is really easy to cut with a hacksaw or similar. You cant really mess it up as its all hidden when reinstal the holders.
  4. But they do look nice, my opinion lol
  5. £150-200? Depending on condition
  6. Just cut the grey plastic where the cup holders foul. This is how mine sits after I did that
  7. I did exactly the same mistake, it does fit, you need to take the left bottom part of the dash out and cut a gap for the cupholders to fit into. It doesn't matter how bad your cutting skills are because when everything is put back together you cant see it. A 5 min job (I thought) took me 2 hours to do and was a bit of a ball ache.
  8. hello mate im from south shields and have a poverty spec red arosa used to commute to college in Newcastle might see you around
  9. This happened when I took the centre consol out and didnt put it back together properly. I would suggest taking out the heater controls and make sure the adjustable wires are fitted properly.

Hi does anyone know how to get a radio code for an Alana stereo?
  11. Anyone know what I need to take off to remove the radiator? Am I looking at removing the front end?
  12. Tried carparts4less or clean the existing one?
  13. Vented discs need to be hot enough to have the ideal braking force. I dont see the point in them unless they are on performance cars.....

More than one size? And easy
  15. My next plans, sell the rear lights and get some cheap springs. Then paint my steel wheels (already have paint).
  16. Cup holder, didnt know I had to cut out some plastic trim to fit, took me 2 hours....
  17. Ok so I've decided to modify my mk2 on a very tight budget. My plan is to sell parts on my car and replace with a better touch. Example. I de wipered the back and sold the wiper motor and arm to fund my cup holders. Sold my card holder which funded my lupo rear lights. I plan on selling my arosa lights to buy something else and so on. I am currently about £5 over with buykng and selling as I had to buy a selector seal which I fitted myself at college as I do vehicle maintenance and repair. Anyway here are my results so far. De wiper, de badge and lupo rear lights....
  18. Following the pins out buisness I dont quite understand it. What am I taking the pins out and where am I putting them in
  19. Have you tried adjusting the linkage maybe?
  20. Will it not just be the smaller of the two? And you could measure yours, not thickness though as that will be worn. And brake pipes you can get at any local motor store.
  21. Put your reg in and it comes up with the correct product. Defo use carparts4less for my 1.0 disc and pads cost £24. Oh and use SAVEME75 promo code and get 7.5% off. Cant fault carparts4less.
