Wow my build thread has reached 2 pages. It's a proud moment. Looking reasonably certain she'll be getting a 40mm drop soon

Lupo GTI standard suspension. Any lower than a non GTI?

Think the Eibach kit's 30mm, Spax & FK do 40mm spring kits -
Crazy wheels man, like it!
-
cut 'n' shut with a bit of blending? haha
-
There's one or two people selling standard suspension in the parts for sale section I believe http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php?showforum=2

'tis a beast & no mistake. love this pic:

Ah I'll let you off then hehe

I'm biased tbf I love classic Minis so I find the BMW version something of a travesty lol I gather the Coopers are lot of fun though. Just playing devil's avocado tbh
-
Can't believe you ditched a Lupo GTI for a BMW half series
-
I'd have to stick on an L & an O from a lupo badge
-
Hmm, looks a bit french for my liking. Crap name too, I could never say 'I drive an up' with a straight face. Much like 'ka', not that I'd want one anyway lol. Nice big wheels tho!
-
^agreed! I'm more worried about the seats than the paint job tbh
-
I may have a bumper for you, waiting for someone to get back to confirm whether they want it or not atm
-

Good tip, he's about 15 miles down the road from me hmmm....checked out his facebook an all he's got a sweeeet mk1 polo -
Had an interesting conversation with my insurance today actually, if I drop her but also drop the cover to TPF&T it'll only cost another tenner a month. Hmmmm!
-
That's it, rub it in

I have similar blues, I went into my local VW dealers & they still do the older type solid headrests - but you have to buy all the components separate & it comes to about 145 quid for one! I was just gonna look out for some of the older (or GTI) types on ebay but if anyone's got any other suggestions for compatible headrests I'm all ears
-
This is gonna look awesome

Stuck one of the new wheels on while putting her back on steels Looks a bit boy racer in silver, coming back round to black tbh That's what tyre blacking's for - I used bootpolish :winning: Should be getting 'rosa rears this weekend (cheers Danny & Adam!) Interesting development last night, Mrs says she doesn't want it anymore...this potentially leaves me open to lowering, though I'm not sure it's worth the massive insurance hike & them wheels probably wouldn't fit...hmmmm.....

Of course it is, don't you speak chav?
-
You're in luck: http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=83453&hl=&fromsearch=1
-
don't suppose you'd do the headrests without the seats?
-
I might have been if it was any lower, wondered if it was the same as the -20mm sport suspension kit VW do
-
this any different to S suspension?
