If you're not lookin to spen loads, Decat, straight through exhaust and a panel filter should help it along.

Lupos aren't canbus. I believe the rcd200 just needs turning back on, don't think you need to restart the car. It's probably more an of annoyance than anything.

Yeah, you need to undo the centre section of the exhaust and take it off the hangers to drop it down, remove the front and centre heat shields, pry the bottom of the shifter box off and unclip the shift rods. Then get inside the car and swap the shifter over, then back underneath and refit everything. It's not actually as bad as it sounds. I swapped mine back to standard last week in an hour. Needs to be up on four axle stands or ramps though.

I think Bridgestone rate their 165/50/15's as ok for use between 4.5j and 6j.

Yeah, I'm sure they'll fit all Lupos and Arosas. Most companies only make one set of coilovers for Lupos, not GTI and non-GTI specific ones, and everybody runs them, so there can't be much in it. These are £737 new, so I don't really want to drop the price any more. As said, they're a bargain at this price, and way better than new budget coilovers at the same price.

Yeah. It's nothing to be ashamed or worried about though. Even some of the GTI's were made in Belgium.

Don't want to p*ss on your parade or anything, but they're not Recaro's. And you're looking at the wrong letter, it's the 'B' that is the production place. It was made in Belgium.

Had this on my car just over a year, definitely made a difference to the performance (in a good way). It's a 100 cell race cat too, not a nancy 200 cell sports cat. It still passed the MOT emissions test with it fitted. The mesh covering of the flexi joint has worn away a bit where it's caught the road, but I don't think it's caused any damage or blows. £400 collected from Hartlepool. Thanks.

Awesome coilovers, look at those lovely stainless threads. No seizing up with these babies! These are the proper GTI ones, so no problems with not having enough camber adjustment like cheap coilovers. The coating on the springs has flaked off in some places and they have surface rust, as is always the case with springs. I had painted the rear springs and shocks black to tidy them up a bit, but this came off when I cleaned them for the photo, so their a bit patchy. Nothing a quick coat of paint won't sort, but you can't see them anyway. £300 Collected from Hartlepool. Thanks.
