  1. I've used a couple before, super snow foam off cleanyourcar.com, and chemical guys maxi suds, and I reckon the super snow foam is better. I'm going to get some valet pro ph neutral next though. Always seems to foam up pretty well from pictures I've seen!
  2. That looks amazing! The green one is different and looks good, but I think blue is still the best. Can't wait to see it when the air is on!
  3. Looks awesome mate. Where did you get them done?
  4. Looking good Joe! Why don't you use the engine cover for the HT leads? You thought about spacing the fronts a bit, or are you going for a bit of tuck? Paintwork is looking shiny!
  5. I think it was an attempt at sarcasm
  6. It was sold on pistonheads a couple of weeks ago I believe.
  7. Do you know what the ET is? That's going to have a big impact on whether they will fit.
  8. Not seen this before...looks good! The rear wheels are a bit too wide for my liking, but other than that I love it!
  9. Cheers Joe. Almost as clean as yours now lol. I'm quite pleased with how the exhaust turned out, used to bug me all the time!
  10. Cheers mate! You're right, it isn't straight. Think I'm going to have to get it sorted now! Haha. Not sure whether to keep the badges on or remove them.
  11. I've been quite busy over the last couple of months with the car, so I'd thought I'd do a bit of an update. A couple of months ago I noticed a noise coming from the gearbox which turned out the be the bearings, which had totally gone, so I had the box reconditioned, which ended up costing £450 for the repair + labour of getting the box in and out which my mates dad did so I managed to save a bit of money there I also bought a sharan rear badge and some 20mm spacers for the rear wheels. I colour coded the badge, which was actually quite straight forward - there's a good guide on one of the Golf forums - I think it looks a lot better now. The rear spacers are a great fit, but the tyres catch a bit on bigger bumps, so I think I'll get the rear arches rolled at some point. The cars been a bit jerky recently but I just put it down to the fact that Lupo's are known to be like that. Today I thought I'd try and rectify it so I fitted new genuine HT leads and NGK spark plugs and now it runs like a dream! It's so much nicer to drive! . Managed to get the exhaust to sit higher up and more in the middle too. Anyway...time for some pictures!
  12. Long term is more than 6 months though. If the standard shocks aren't that costly to replace then I suppose it doesn't really matter.
  13. Have a look at the Arosa's on pistonheads/autotrader and then compare yours to the ones already on there, and price it accordingly.
  14. Door cards are different! Look good too!
  15. Bear in mind that anything more than 40mm on standard shocks isn't going to be good for them in the long term.
  16. I spotted you a couple of months back on the M5! Put it in the spotted too lol
  17. Just had another browse. Am I right in thinking to just change one lead at a time to make sure that the lead goes to correct cylinder and connector on the coil pack?
  18. Thanks! Does it make a difference which lead goes where?
  19. Hi guys I'm going to change my spark plugs and HT leads tomorrow, and was just after some pointers. It seems like a fairly straight forward job, but is there anything I need to be aware of, or make sure of when changing them? Also, regarding the gap on the spark plugs, I've had a look at them, and the three prongs on the top are level with the centre electrode. Should there not be a gap? Or is this how they are supposed to be? They are the genuine spark plugs which I got from Lupoboz. Any help would be appreciated. I had a quick browse using the search but couldn't find what I was after. Thanks Nic
  20. I reckon you might need some arch work done so they don't rub....depends how low you are. I've just put some 20mm spacers on the rear wheels on my GTI, which makes the wheels 6.5j et 23, and they catch the arches on big bumps. That's with the wider arches on a GTI too. Car looks good by the way!
