  10. can i ask, if it fitted your 1.4 8v does that mean the throttle body intake diameter was correct? (65mm i think it was) think I may just have to take the engine cover off and do some measurements myself, unless someone has all the measurement for a custome kit they've made style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="confused.gif" />
  11. have searched it and evrything seemed uncertian about whether someone had actually fitted them and with how much hassle they went in.... just seemed like guess work as of yet...

  14. right i think ive asked this before and other people have asked but i dont think there has been a definate answer, who has ever fitted other seat straight on to the subframes of a lupo/arosa, i have heard of mk4 golf seats but im not sure if this was ever fitted them sucessfully, as buckets are too expensive and gti seat are too rare.... help in any way, shape, or form would be great! James
  15. mine has never done that... sorry, only other choice is to wire the ignition lead from the head unit so it just goes into the same lead as main power line, just make sure you always turn the stereo off otherwise the battery will go dead style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> hope this helps mate (Usually this would be attatching the yellow and red wires from the head unit into one and then just have that one wire connected to the cars positive (red) wire)
  16. yeah but the wiring on my mk1 is identical to that for the lupo
  17. Can do mate, ill have to go and buy some screwdrivers with that head first (used a mates when i was putting them in) but ill try and do it before tomorrow night at least if thats ok? actually i have my arosa mk1 rear lights right here, i can attempt to find what wires go to what off that if you want?
  18. is it a mk2 i take it? because mk1 wiring plugs straight in and works great!
  19. I get where you are all coming from with this guy but you have to think at the end of the dazy its a project to try and create something different and individual, i mean where would the turbo kits be today that companies already supply if someone hadnt tried to fit one of the smaller turbos onto them? I say good luck and if you have the time and the money then go for it, lifes too short not to try style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
