    Flash red spray

At the body shop they showed my three shades of LP3G so beware. Basically not all flash reds are the same, they explained the paint changes over the years due to different raw materies they are using.
  8. As posted before, I had my rust done last year. Ive just discovered they painted the whole roof.

  13. Probably the value stems seals. and no its not really normal. Whats the milage?
  14. Thanks people, it think it really improves the engine bay, small things like this.. And a cheque for 75 quid
  15. More shinyfication goings on.. The engine top was looking a bit worn, paint was drity and a bit scratched and a few bubbles. So thought it might be a good idea to do something with it, to match the other shiny bit. Was debating painting it, but decided just to polish instead.. So from this: To this. Came up great after removing the paint with loads of sanding, some wire wool, and a buffing wheel on the end of a drill. As a good as a mirror finish really. Very pleased
  16. Dont bother with ever upgrading the rear, they do so little work compared to the front.
  17. So what would these upgraded speakers actually give me? I was doing some tests at high volume with my new headunit on the standard speakers and they actually sounded pretty good I thought...
  18. great thanks, i do plan to do the deadening to.
  19. Thanks LooP, The becker gives out 18 watts per channel. Even if im not really gonna have the speakers too loud, im still not quite sure the advantages of an amp? If Im not going for an amp, would you recommend some different speakers? Thanks.
  20. Hello again chaps, Right, ive decided on the becker Mexico pro headunit.. now its time for speakers.. Ive seen these recommended on here and other places and they are in my price range so I might as well go for them: http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/focal-access-165-a1.html?cPath=285 So many people say you should run an amp on these, but why? I really do not want to get an amp due to the extra expense (which I will spend on souind deadening) and the faff of wiring up to the battery. I am running this off a good HU to start with so hopefully that lessens the need for an amp? Regarding fitting; I assume the tweeters just replace the standard ones in the standard positions, are they easy to mount/fit? Regarding the doors, can these be monuted behind the standard speaker grills. I am looking at mounting options, everyone seems to say the mdf rings are better than platic.. Is this the kind of thing I want.. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250704804809&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT Thanks for the advice so far.
  21. Thanks dood. I wont be getting an amp as its extra expensive and too much faff to install. So hopefully a good HU to start with will do the trick with some nice components.
  22. Any reason why you havent upgraded the HU?
