  1. I won't be spaicng mine when i get my set on the road. I will check for a picture of a sport with starlites.....
  2. Easy. Tools required. Set of screwdrivers. Firstly - removed the cover on the door handle - it should reval two phillips screws. on the right hand side - you will need a flat head screwdriver. then once this is removed - remove the screws. Then get a flat head screwdriver between the card and door panel and leaver carefully until it comes loose and repeat the step until you have remove the card. Nearly forgot to add - once removed you will need to remove the door cable from the handle.
  3. i'd say yes due to if you want to sell you can revert back, also some the bits are getting a little hard to come accross. Eg - the gear knob (which is specific to that model) has a specfic gator and they hard to get hold of. Although they are no where near as rare as 1.7sdi se......
  4. I'd say wheels first then coliovers - i think just generic.
  5. nice to meet you - yeah i am going round in a black lupo at the moment, haven't done much yet but i do have somethings to do though....
  6. Only just saw this thread. I have similar issues but on the passenger side. Have you checked the drain pipe on side of the car where water goes down, it sounds like they might be blocked. If you unscrew the panel below the wipers this should give you access to the passenger side. The drivers side does look a bit trickier but you may be able to get your hand in there. Hope this helps.
  7. Neither am i. I was lucky to get a 5th - an odd one came up on Ebay about a month ago. The wheel bolt that i have got try is out of a Fiat Punto - lol who though Fiat works in Vw!!! But it should reslove the length issue.
  8. I am going to exactly the same as what you are going to do - i have a set of 5. I have done a little bit of investigating allready and there is one minor prob which i have resolved. The wheel bolt in the boot is not long enough. I am just thinking there can't be that many people that have a set of 5 starlites.
