I think you mean the gaitor. Just phone your local vw garage and ask for a gaitor for a '99 lupo and i'm sure they'll be able to get one for you

Yeah that seems quite expensive. I got a full bodykit sprayed for £250 from an insurance approved company (they are usually more expnesive), don't know too much about spraying but going by what i got charged your quote seems quite alot. Best shout is to try around a few places dont just go for the cheapest option tho and try go for a recommended company...

You get what you pay for buddy. I'm not saying they wont work but they wont be made from as good quality materials etc. also, wouldn't of thought they would last as long...

It's got its own fuse on it already so wiring to the battery wont be a problem...

Yeah you can get them from VW but they charge a ridiculous amount so you'd be far better just getting them from a scrappy and spraying them...

Does the arosa have a back pressure sensor? Cos that'd be next to the cat so if the cat was removed the sensor would need to be relocated. That might be what he's referring to as being a problem. Also will getting a decat not be a bit of a pain in the hole come mot day??

Sometimes you can hit something and it'll tense up the seat belts." The springs on my car with standard shockies feel smooth and I wouldnt say it was bouncy. I appreciate i've not actually tried them but going by people i've spoke to and reading threads like these I get the impression that you'll get better performance from buying £130 lowering springs than buying budget coilies at £200...
