What was it in the end? I cleaned my throttle body butterfly the other day and cleaned the BMC then when putting it all back together today it's been idleing between 1 and 2,000 revs. I did adjust my throttle cable because it was really loose, not massivly tight either there is still slack in it. Any help?

I watched a video of a guy on youtube from america attacking his wire wheels with a little bit of soapy water and this cone sponge on the end of a drill, work pretty well.
-
Im totally going to have to do this now then. Roll on the summer.

That's one tidy car! Ive been wanting to do the polo boot badge for ages now, looks really really smart. Is it all wired up and working then?

Love this car! Question; does the mk5 boot handle work? Ive been thinking of doing it for ages and the only way of doing it I can think of is with a mk5 boot lid and transplanting everything across. Also thought of doing it with the mk6 or the new polo.

Happier without that through my engine.

That's what i asked, we dont think it would be a problem, or any different to trimming a leather one. -
I have a filter on the pipe. Doesnt smoke that much anymore, saying that he car hardly gets driven at the moment. I just dont like the thought that all those fumes are going into the engine, cant be good for the throttle butterfly. Mine sticks as it is.

Get in! Still sure you dont want to come to york?
-
Is running your oil breather pipe in after the filter a good idea? That will all get sucked into the engine.

haha that's class

Id agree with what most people on here are saying, bottom two look the best. Not too fussed on the red bit at the top of the wheel (I have no idea of the correct name) When using my steering wheel I am aware where the up right postion is, so I see no need for it. How odes this work then, get in contact with him and send the old wheel, without the airbag, to him? And would be he able to do I sport wheel? -
Why do I like those wheels so much :S

Sorry I'd rather not split them from the seats, give it a couple days though and if there's no interest I'll pm you.
-
Right nothings come of all the interest so Ive uploaded the photos, Drivers seat, the marks are from storage and have come out now. Passenger seat, Solid head rests there for a little bit extra. four hooped head rests Rear door cards, great condition. Drivers door card, needs a clean. Passenger door card with pictures of damage to clips Sorry for the poor camera phone pictures. The price is £55 collected for the seats, hooped head rests and door cards. I dont have any pictures of the rear seats because theyre still in the car.
