the mid in the rear is different to the one in the front! the rear ones are just nasty, whereas the front ones are marginally better! tho i've now got the vw uprated fronts, that they say won't fit a gti!

right, this is a sfitted to the rear of my car! border="0" class="linked-image" /> and a front tweeter as fitted to my car border="0" class="linked-image" /> as you can see, the front tweeter is a lot smaller than the rear tweeter not sure if non-gti lupos or arosa's for that matter, have the holes in the rear metal for the mid-range speaker.

go to vw and buy 1j0 998 003 around £15 for the pair

that should be fine, as the bulb is the same size. i got an led one in mine thats supposed and used to change seven different colours, and that was a bit smaller, so i just bent the contacts together!

right, can do the starter motor (02t 911 023 ex) for £93.41 inc vat, tho it will be subject to a surcharge, ie we'll need the old unit back, which is £41.13 inc vat, tho you get that back! the towing eye cover (6e0 853 666 f gru) for £5.64 inc vat, and the exhaust pipe diameter is 50mm!

right, with trade discount, can do a set of genuine ones for £49.82 inc vat! will have to be ordered in tho as they are non-stock (like most lupom gti bits!)

as always, it'll be the minority spoiling it for the majority! this is generally a well behaved meet, thanks mostly to it being a bit far outta town for chavs! but a few are starting to creep in now!

nope, they are masive things that are screwed to the metal by 2 screws! and the main speaker has 4 screws holding it on! the fronts are held on by 3 rivets, and the tweeters are glued to the dash cover!

the rear speakers in a gti are different to the front ones as they are model specific! the tweeters are huge, and the full range cone has different fixings on them! the front speakers are the same as fitted to passats and mk4 golfs

i've had 4 brake lites and 2 spoilers now, in a year of ownership, tho it seems that its sorted now! the stuff vw use to seal the spoiler is crap! i got windscreen bond around mine now, so far so good!

i've had 4 of these in a year! leak water thru the seal around the lite, mine were done under warranty, but the last time, i had a new spoiler fitted too!

i took mine out on sat to try a new headunit i got, and when i put it back in, the h/unit said 'safe', so had to put the keycode in. was only disconnected for about 20 mins! but it did remember radio stations and my sound settings!
