Rich
I need to do the rear suspension and the bushes on the sti.The brake drums were worn out the other week, had to replace those.Tdi needs a wheel bearing.Lupos are hard work, if the golf didn't just inhale fuel since I started playing I'd use that again.
Skezza
The drums seem a right pain on the sdi. They're big and awkward.
Rich
I mean the actual drums, not the shoes.

Paul
I need to change the brake shoes on mine; they're still the original ones from the factory. I've been having trouble finding the torque setting for the big centre nut though. Does anyone know what it should be?Thanks
Rich
If you're smart you can actually do all this without removing the hub. Before you whip them apart by yourself a set of springs/clips off ebay. Brake cleaner the whole thing inside.Assemble off the car and grease/oil the handbrake cable and pull it through a few times from inside. This will buy you another decade.
