Jessi
Im not very knowledgeable with wheels but my new lupo has come with these. I've been offered quite a few swaps by friends but i'd rather know what they are first. They say ATS in the center. Also, a few of the 'bolt caps' probably a non-existant word but the shiny caps that cover the wheel bolts are gone on each wheel. where can i buy replacements? Many thanks! Silver!
Look like ATS Cups. Quite a few people like them, but I for one do not like them, especially on a Lupo or Arosa. What are they offering to swap with?£152 each new from VW HeritageeBay prices vary: http://www.ebay.co.uk/bhp/ats-cups
Jessi
.Some GTI wheels (resprayed orange and black).£100 cash for all 4.And another brand of wheels i honestly cant remember but i wanna say ripspeed. They look scuffed to me, but i cleaned them up and they came out lovely and smooth, scuffs still there. Someone may have stickerbombed previously as theres residue.Any idea on the bolt caps? Or the proper word so i can google them? There one missing on the right of that photo
TommyDUB
you'll get a hell of a lot more than £100 for them, even if they're arent in the best condition.Ripspeed alloys are from Halfords....yeah.... cheap...Welcome to the forum
Silver!
A swap for the Bathursts (Lupo GTI wheels) would be OK and a far more suited wheel to the Lupo.Take into account the requirement for a refurb, approx. £40 a wheel for powdercoating, though. And make sure the Bathursts have centre caps too.Wheel bolt covers\caps are what you are looking for: http://www.performancealloys.com/Wheel-Nut-Caps.aspx
Jessi
Thanks lads. Big help, I was wondering why people were biting my hand off for a swap with the ripspeed alloys lol.Another one for you. I got all excited as soon as i bought it, scoured these pages for little mods to make it look nicer like taking the bumpers off and lowering but it seems its already been done! A standard lupo certainly doesnt look anything like this. What other mods can your expert eyes see. Im pretty sure its lowered too. I bought last week and has since been in the mechanics so only pics from the ad.

Jessi
Someones clearly had fun with it then. Mechanic put it on the ramp today. Adjustable coilovers on every wheel. But called earlier to say that in one of them an important bolt has been shorn and has split. He asked me to look for coilover nuts and bolts but i have no idea what im looking for ): why couldnt i have bought something standard! Silver!
Surely he can get a bolt and nut to fit? Pretty easy, measure the one on the other side and go buy one to match. If not I would find another mechanic.
