Raven
Ok, the drivers side electric window goes down no problem, but when I try to get it to go up again it goes up and then back down. The only way to put the glass back up it to lift it and press the electric window switch at the same time.Any ideas?
Rich
Any strange noises? Is it all good on the runners?
Raven
No wierd noises :-/ glass used to sit well in the runners and still the same issue, although it now doesn't sit quite right. Edited May 29, 2013 by Raven
Rich
If it is tilting then it's likely you have broken a clip. When it is halfway down give it a wobble. If the clip has broken you're going to have to remove the mech and either replace or repair it. Koop
Ye olde window reset trick is always worth a crack - wind it down, hold button for 5 seconds, wind it up, hold button for 5 seconds.

danoid
Sounds like a clip issue to me or possibly the cog - http://danstyan.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/VW-Lupo-Window-Regulator-Cog.pdfHave the window almost all the way down and remove the cogs, check the clips for any damage and wobblyness
Pete91
Loosen the nut on the clip, adjust the window and retighten. If you do it right the window will go up and down no problem. Unless, as rich says, the clip is broken. Edited June 1, 2013 by Pete91
