WHITE SHMOKE, NOT GOOD

Recommended Posts

Hello!. My 99' arosa 1.0l is blowing white smoke like f**k. I used radweld, oil flush, coolant flush, changed the oil/filter, and cleaned out the water system. Still bellowing out white smoke!.

Any Idea's whats gone wrong?

I think there's water getting into the engine somehow. Thinking of putting in a new 1.0l engine, but its the last resort.

Any help much appreciated :)

Sounds like headgasket has gone if your burning water

Yep. Sounds exactly like my dads old Fiat about 10 years ago (doesn't have it anymore). Was blowing huge puffs of white smoke. Blown head gasket.

I crashed my other arosa and i bought another one which im talking about now as a replacement. Twas a dodgy deal i think.

Yeh it was using a hell of alot of water as far as i can remember, haven't been driving it for a while.

I'll take the head off it anyway, and inspect the pistons/cylinders for damage. If there all f****d I may go ahead and change the whole engine/gearbox :(

Thanks for your help guys :)
