G2EO
Hello everybody! First of all i apologize for my bad english but it's not a mystery, french people aren't in good terms with the language of Shakespear Anway i'm here to share my passion for this little car named Lupo and find some answer (i hope)! I'm an owner of a little lupo 1.2 TDI also referenced as 3L for "3 liters". After some research i read that this model wasn't commercialised in UK but i hope that some members will help me in my research. I read a few topics before creating an account and a lot of them were really helpful! But today i'm in a dilemma because i wanted to upgrade lupo GTI headlights to my TDI. I know there's already a lot of subject about it but i didn't find my answers in it and i see that many members have done this very well with wiring diagram. I wanted to keep my 3L front indicator and use GTI ones as side light. I also want to keep if possible the levelling with de classic button (which is located near the dashbord light button) and not using the auto levelling module installed into a GTI. Thanks for reading me.

Firstly, I apologize, but I don't know anything in French Sorry The reason it wasn't commercialized in the UK was because there was not a huge interest in green cars... also it's left hand drive. I'm not sure if they could have modified it to work in the UK (I assume they could have... but they didn't), however their new XL1 which is coming in this summer is also a left hand drive with no option of right hand drive... so maybe VW target the European market more than the UK market. So you want the Xenon ones fitted to the normal ones? It is possible and it has been done on this forum, but I think it's quite a job. They have a huge voltage don't they? Something like 10,000 volts so you have to be super careful when working on them.
