missy
Hey guys, need some help please....my off side brake light isn't working and its not the bulb as the lights work when you turn them on (and the bulbs are new), i'm assuming it's a connection or something? Any ideas where, and how will i find it?

Pete
Just because your side lights work doesn't mean your brake lights are ok, even if they are the same bulb they'll be using different filaments.
kabman
Just because your side lights work doesn't mean your brake lights are ok, even if they are the same bulb they'll be using different filaments. With dual filament bulbs it is usually the brake light that fails first so this is probably your problem. If you haven't got a multimeter, or don't know how to use one, the simplest way to diagnose your faulty brake light is to swap the bulbs from left to right since you know the other bulb is OK.
