Fone around and get quotes on cambelt and full service deal a good garage done mines for 220 quid as for oil buy part synthetic if u have high miles as fully sythetic lets old parts run to freely and that can cause parts to break . I never got my water pump changed and it still going strong dont spend money u dont need to spend : )

Thats a seal between the gearbox and engine not long happend to me

could be a small hole in the exhaust

i had that problem too a grinding from the back of the stearing wheel it was a bit copper i just left it and it went away lol

i bought my lupo for 980 in may 2012. 54000 miles w reg 12 month mot 2 months tax full service history with only 4 lady owners and a french geek who sold me it .. so far its had timing belt kit , full service , new discs n pads from kwik fit, a lamda sencor and a new clutch kit all at the cost of about 600 quid .. thers also recipts for E.R.G valve been done previously its a great wee car if a put a years mot on it in april do u think i could justify trying to sell it for a grand. ????

defo not the breaks had it on the ramps at kwikfit today had front n back breaks checked also had suspension checked but forgot to ask about the absorber.. if it is the shocky does anybody know how much to fix it .. could it be the top bolt that holds the suspension in place ?

ther is a grinding coming from my back passenger side wen i hit the break but only seems to do it somtimes could this mean i need new drum breaks and do u have any idea how much it costs .. thanks : )

missy dont give up on your lupo they are great wee cars mines has done 159 thousand miles and goes like the clappers lol

i ment when u break hard and the car dips forward thers a rubbery squeek could it be s shock absorber or somthing

when i hit the break i can hear a rubbery squeek mite be a squeeky suspension spring but am not a mechanic or mechanicaly skilled any ideas in what this could be.. thanks : )

my lupo 1.0 has done 159480 miles and runs perfect full service done timing belt and lamda sencor all done recently look after your lupo and it will look after you : )
