Thooooom
im not very good at all this, but wouldnt that make them et-7 (ish)? i might be wrong, but my working out is you're adding 2 inches to the outer face, 1 inch = 25mm (ish) so et43 - 50 ?im not certain but looking on www.willtheyfit.com and comparing it to mine, i'd imagine your arches would need pulling.bit of a pointless post really as i dont know. but it might help i guess. Adam R4
Surely on a an 8J you'd wanna be running atleast a 185? http://tyrestretch.com/8_175_50_R14/8_175_50_R14_Goodyear.jpg.phpTake a nosey though there...
MiiTCH-TDi
Well I hope the stretch wil sit in the arch
Lermy
adding an inch i beleive takes off 13mm? so would be et 17, and i would have thought 175 50 should be fine ive got 185 45 on my 8's not enough stretch for me
MiiTCH-TDi
That's what I thought but of I'mOnly adding to the front Of the rim surely the offset don't change lol
Deadmetal
They'll end up et17.4, if my working is correct. The offset will change as it is measured from the centre of the width. Adding any width anywhere on the wheel will change where the centre is, unles you add equal amounts either side. You'll need your arches rolled to fit them. 8j Et25 is pretty much flush with the arch. Also, why go two inches wider then fit standard width tyres? More tyre = more grip = more fun. Edited May 16, 2012 by Deadmetal
jamiea7x
deadmetals almost there itd 17.6,ofsset would reduce by 25.4, 43 -25.4 = 17.6stretch tyres is a must with that fitment.
