In with my "advisories" (garage ones, not MOT ones) they said there is a software update for the car on VAS5051b and it'll be £48 if I want it done.Is it likely to be worth it? puggled Posted November 24, 2011 Author Report Share Posted November 24, 2011 They said they'd just updated their software and there was an update for the Lupo on it. Surely VW wouldn't be releasing stuff this late into the life of the car, or it is possible my car has missed a past update.Anyway of checking for the layman? I've got an OBDII lead and a cheap ass ebay VagCom lead. Thinking along the lines of how I can look at the firmware version of electronic goods I have, would the Lupo ECU software have revision numbers?
