p88bel
Took delivery of my porsche wheels today, look nuts on the car, I'm changing tires though want a much lower profile.Theyve had a coat of paint before, but ive rubbed one down and gave it a quick polish and it's well nice, got the wheels real cheap as well, pics coming soon

Loopy Lupo
i'm gonna guess porsche design 90's or teledials!
chris260
I think you'll be right with design 90's style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Although teledials on a low offset would looks sweet as! Red Lup Gti
tbh with what he has done to his car i would be very suprised if they were 90's! More newer skool (boxster rims or alike)
Scottish_Sport_16V
Dunno to me the nonelty of prosche rims has worn off still cool tho
p88bel
teledials 15s, sits really nice on em, will take pics when change tires to lower profiles and when polished.I may be buying some more modern porsche rims real soon as well, see how it goes
chris260
I was looking for some early boxter 16's for my cabrio at one point but gave up looking. They'd really suit your car actually, just finding them is the hard part as most people upgraded them to 17's straight from the factory. They're a bit like the ones on alex's car but have a bit of a dish on them.

Scottish_Sport_16V
Altern8 that golf looks awsome wheels really suite the old school.Simon dont think they r gonna suit ur car mate but long as uthink they do that all that counts
Tigz™
I agree with Paddy.I think on an old school car they look great. But I worry if they may be too old school for the Loop?Im sure we'll soon see!
Dare
If mirror polished, i think they would look pretty mint.
payna
i did see a picture of a green lupo in the back of one of the pvw mags with those wheels - it was a bit marmite but each to their own
chris260
Aye i forgot about that one, they were meant to be featuring it! I liked it.
p88bel
Im mirror polishing them, they cost me £122 including delivery to my door, that was with tires, Ive a buyer for the tires as profiles too big for the lupo so that takes em down to just costing me 80 quid!Polishings costing me nothing, these arent a permanent fixture, Im still in the middle of buying other wheels, porsche again, yep i will be looking at more modern wheels when they come up in 16s and arent too wide. The other ones Im in middle of getting are 16s front wheels are 225s and rears 255s, so may widen back quarters more to house em.

p88bel
not bad, mines were 77 quid by time paid delivery brought it up but seling the tires took the cost back down, ive mirror polished one so far looks well mint now, lotsa work but well worth it
