WARNING: Brake Failure that *could* affect your loop/arosa.

Recommended Posts

Hey guys & gals.

One of the Junction29 boys posted a link up on the J29 forum & I thought you might like a read - http://p207.ezboard.com/fvolkswagenandaudi...picID=607.topic

Not 100% sure if it affects loops, but the guys involved all seem to think its ALL post 1998 VW's (& therefore Seats/Skodas etc) and it could explain the brake failure Bossjohnc suffered not so long ago...

Wouldn't explain my brake failure as the brakes were working fine after - but it's definately worth a look.

You should always test your brakes before you reach any speed, or a junction though!

Stickied for now as it could be a potential problem...

Is it only rear calipers that are affected? like on the GTI?

I'll still check my front calipers though as garthie is a 99 plate!

thanks

I posted sometime ago that vw were recalling all 1998 and 1999 lupo and polos for the brake problem Cliveski posted. Definately something to look out for. And jen, the LupoSport also has 4 disc brakes
