max West-York
Even with 165/50s and a load of camber you might struggle to get them in
Deadmetal
They'll go over the calipers, but unless you flare the arches to hell and back you'll never get the tyres under the arches.
polariskid
She's not lowered and the calipers are standard. You still think it's gonna be a squeeze? :/
Pete
Doesn't really matter if it's lowered or not mate, gotta try to get all your tread within the arches, or you could have fun and games with the old bill, it's not caliper clearance that you'll struggle with. cherry
i ran 8.5 j wheel et0 on my lupo i needed a 165 tyre and i had my arches rolled a fair amount but just tucked the tread in the arch, the wheel poked like crazy tho
Deadmetal
Even if it's at standard height you'll still have major problems unless you run 165 tyres.Aftermarket wheels will look crap on a standard height car anyway.
puggled
I always used to think wheels had to fit within the arches, hence why so many cars used to run arch extensions, like escorts and minis and stuff. It was certainly held as conventional wisdom that a car would fail MOT if there was poke.Someone on here posted that the rules are they can't stick out more than the widest fixed point on the car.Watching one of the traffic cop shows last night they pulled a guy in an XR3i for having about an inch of poke all round. The cops were adamant it was illegal.Whatever the rules you'll probably get pulled if you pass some having a bad day...
