Norpan
I´ve got 17" et37 on my Lupo and the only problem i had is to much tire I had 205/40/17" and it scraped like hell...Now i got smaller ones, 185/35/17" and it works fine without the adjuster nuts in the rear.Heres a picture of it:

DarkStryder360
Looks good on a GTi, kind of. Standard Lupo.. 17's are ridiculous.
smitty12
will have to wait and see how it looks lol adaptors are coming this week, my biggest concern is the front wheels sticking out the arches :/ got the GTI front hubs and i'm pretty sure there going to stick well out :/Photo's above look sweet imo

Never worth it.Although, that guy's GTi could just have a boot popper release? Edited August 3, 2011 by DarkStryder360

Lupo-Joe
And much arch work or does it depend how far you go down as these seem very tempting!
Deadmetal
You will need your arches rolled to fit these properly. The Lupo posted above looks to be nearly, if not just, as low as I have my car. Running 15s and needed the arches rolled to fit et40 7j wheels with out any worries.
