LoopEd
What kind of style are you hoping for? Budget?
robzter
im running the coilovers lowered at max. and stretch so i kinda like that look. just have to go up to 16" to get the brakes to fit.
scotty_82
Are you needing the stoppers that big to stop a 1.4 lupo?
LoopEd
What size are the discs.....there are plenty of options for 280mm
robzter
the thing is that im going to track the car, and yeah i know i can get some 280mm with VR6 calipers. but can get a set of porsche calipers quite cheap. + its porsche the lupo is a mini porsche
LoopEd
Just make sure the pistons on the Porsche calipers aren't too big otherwise your brakes will be spongy. For motorsport wheels try here
little rich
If your tracking it mate stretch isnt really the thing you need!
robzter
im not going to run stretched on the track ofc
heartagram
I think 16s look right on a Lupo.13/14 tends to look to small. 15s don't look quite big enough. 16s are cock on.
robzter
do you have any pics? of RS or D90s?
Deadmetal
Just thought Id throw this in.It possible to have brakes that are too powerfull. Brakes desinged to stop a porsche will just lock up somthing as light as a Lupo. Good pads and disks are more important than outright size. You need somthing that is consitant and fade resistant. The unsprung weight of 16s will harm the handeling aswell. On topic, 16s will fit, wont be able to go low though.
