Pete Posted June 25, 2011 Report Share Posted June 25, 2011 Hey hey, OK, I'm just waiting for my 8j's to be returned from the cutters and I dunno what tyres to slip round them, they're only gonna be on for shows so I don't need anything but budget really. I'd like a bit of stretch but I dunno what size to go for. 195/45/15s or 185/55/15s. Which would be best for stretch? Coz the way I see it the 195 has a wider tread so covers more of the width of the wheel in the first place but has the shorter sidewall, whereas the 185 obviously covers less but has a bigger sidewall so would that mean I'd lose the stretch look?
