Silver! Posted February 20, 2011 Report Share Posted February 20, 2011 Depends on the look you are going for, but you don't have to follow the crowd!Here is my Arosa 1.0MPi on 13x5 MK1 GTI rims. Tyres were 165\60\13 which are an awkward size to source, but a good payoff between tyre wall size and loss of 'rotation'.Car was lowered on -45mmm AVO springs and the ride quality was pretty good too. I did have a set of 20mm spacers for the rear and 10mm for the front, but I let her go before I got around to fitting them.50bhp, fully loaded at 670mWhitesands Bay, June 2009To be honest, she got positive comments from those who saw her, but she didn't go far (VW show\meet wise) as I have the GTI.
