DarkStryder360
I have to drive up a wedged piece of wood, then jack it up. Then reverse off at an angle to avoid damaging front bumper.

Bickerton
with some lupos if you go too low the drive shafts will foul on the chassis leg

Philplop
I used to drive onto a bit of wood, but then I got a low jack, and it just fits under the sill. Much easier than fanning about with wood, well worth the money if you use it a fair bit. Any pictures of the Mini? I've never seen a really low one. How is it lowered?Just my brother has a Mini that's getting fixed up at the minute, and we're about ready to sort the suspension. My mates probably got one of the lowest ones, 10" Wellers with the arches on the tyres (1293 turbo not good on 10's i might add). Hi-los and uprated shocks is the easiest way, coilovers if you have some money.
Philplop
Cheers guys, sounds like hi-lo's and shocks is the way forward.

blister
sod coilovers on a mini you got to sort out all things like corner weights aswell as lbs for the springs to much hassle the its worth! nothing better then a nice set of shocks on a mini and then minitastic springs, buuut nooo coilovershere is my mini but the wheel arches arnt tubbed, but if they were i could go down another 2" but the mini is now off the road so its undergoing a rear engine conversion using a spaceframe, http://www5.picturepush.com/photo/a/4864648/640/4864648.bmp Edited January 14, 2011 by blister
